Pros:

Six baskets remain. Baskets are essentially installed in 3 pairs. Could be a nice, short six-hole layout.

Pros:

+

+ On the grounds of a beautiful corporate park that includes walking trails (also open to the public). Don't be put off by the security booth as you enter the complex (as far as I can tell, it's never staffed). The public is welcomed.

+ The course itself is a simple and straightforward nine. Very open, with most distances alternating between roughly 150' and a little more than 200' (there's one "monster" at 276' but it's wide open). There's no attempt in the design to make this anything more than a great introduction to the sport. Experienced players might go 7-9 under.

+ The signage is excellent, with large signs on easy-to-spot short white posts. The signs themselves include large aerial photos with the holes illustrated onto them.

+ The baskets are brand new DisCatcher Pros with blue bands. They catch fine, but they're positioned a foot or so higher than normal (my guess is that the maintenance department wanted to raise the locking connection with the sleeve up and away from the ground). They aren't "elevated" or anything, but the extra 16 inches of height feels a little odd at first.

+ Grass teeing areas. Immaculately-mowed lawn, actually. I doubt the course will ever get enough traffic to wear them down to dirt. White ground-level boards to mark the fronts of the tees.

Cons:

- Don't come to 7 Giralda expecting a challenge. There are some newly-planted trees dotting a few greens, and one sort-of-tunnel shot, but it's really just wide open, and the only variety is length. But even then, you're either throwing roughly 150' or 200' to the basket

~ This feels like a course that understands what it was designed for - and does it very well. Perfect for a lunchtime round. Excellent course for newbies to pick up the game. Wonderful place to throw a quick after-dinner round on a summer evening.
