Could have been decent

Reviewed: Played on:Feb 1, 2025 Played the course:once

Pros:

Has 9 numbered baskets
Practice Basket
Large Parking lot

Cons:

Nothing what so ever marking tee's.
Some of the holes are just not that good.

Other Thoughts:

They could have done a better job is all I am going to say. There isn't much to work with but what is there could have been designed better.

While next to the University, the parking area for the course is for anyone. I had to use the other app's map as there is nothing marking tee boxes anywhere on this course. it's just 9 basket in a park around a pond.

Hole was was throwing down along the side of the parking lot towards the water.

you back up the hill a little and throw across the edge of the pond for hole 2. DON'T turn your disc over like I did, could not see my disc in the murky water.

Hole 3 has a decent tee off a peninsula to the basket up and over the edge of a hill.

Hole 4 throws downhill with some rough and a tree to navigate.

Hole 5 is kind of a long walk and throws back though some mulberry trees. This might be the best hole on the course which isn't saying much.

Hole 6 throws off the dam, but around a grove of trees. The longest hole on the course.

Hole 7 throws back up the hill and does have some distance and tree's to navigate.

Hole 8 was marked weird and throws down the hill with the lake on the right.

Hole 9 is a wide open shot back to the parking lot. It's the basket on the left, the one on the right is the practice basket.

I would rate this course a little better if it had tee's marked. It's just that looking around, this course could have been designed SO much better just with tee placement or moving a basket or two.

Would I play here again? Nope, it's a one and done course. Even if they put tee pads out there i would not stop here again. It is a quick play and the only course in Auburn. But just a short drive away are 3 good to great courses so this one isn't anything more than a large practice area.
