Pros:
Elevation changes are above average for this area. Hole 1,2,4,7 are all downhill, 4 is very downhill. Holes 3, 6, 8, 9 are more uphill. That's about all that I can say regarding anything positive.
Cons:
The biggest one for me is safety. Not just one, but TWO holes play either over, or dangerously close to the playground. Hole 3 plays over the driveway blind, over the playground to the basket. Hole 6 also plays over the corner of the playground. Holes 2 also plays over the driveway, but that is less dangerous as you can see if anyone is coming.
Also, navigation is abysmal. The signs are more confusing than helpful. A couple of them I couldn't decipher at all and some were just missing. Hole 4 is on the other side of the building from 3, with no sign. The only way to find it is using udisc (which was also wrong for some other holes)
Tee pads don't exist at all, just grass or dirt.
Baskets are old but being a church course, I can't fault them for not spending too much on baskets.
Other Thoughts:
When I saw that the church was literally on a hill, I was hopeful for the course. Then I tried to play the course and was massively disappointed. I spent more time trying to figure out where to throw and where to tee from than I did playing. Thankfully, not too many people use this course so hopefully no one gets hurt.
