Fun little pitch 'n' putt course 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Jul 30, 2022 Played the course:once

Pros:

Very beginner friendly. It's also the least windy course I've found in Iceland. The tee pads and signage are terrific.

Cons:

As long as you're okay with a putter course, there's not a lot to complain about.

Other Thoughts:

We stopped at the course to break up our drive and it was worth the stop.

Pros:

Two tees per hole - short, and shorter.

Navigational aids.

Wood chips on some paths, tees.

Cons:

Single basket.

Natural tees.

Other Thoughts:

Course is set in the back, unkept part of a small community park.

A short/open (like the course, especially from the reds) hole-by-hole description.

#1: Elevated tee, wide open, a couple guarding trees early/left and even/right of basket.
#2: Bushes the entirety of the left side. A couple trees right side early to miss. Flat.
#3: Valley shot, early window to pass thru.
#4: Sharp right turner, slight up slope
#5: Blind shot - basket in large pit, bushes to miss at rim
#6: Subtle right turner along the bottom of a tiny valley
#7: Open to left, line of trees entire right side, flat.
#8: Open to left, trees late right, flat, slight drop-off behind basket
#9: Open, slight elevation loss

Visit the Golden Circle for scenery. If you have time to bag a course while in the area, this one will suffice.
