Pros:

- good quality baskets
- good quality concrete tees
- good quality tee signs
- huge variety in distances ranging from 180 to 750 feet, with multiple par 4s and 5s
- plenty of tree to force tight lines and specific shots
- plenty of shade for hot days
- two sets of tee pads on every hole

Cons:

- little to no elevation change, completely flat
- some tee signs are getting sun faded
- some of the pars are very questionable
- only a few benches and no trash cans on the course

Other Thoughts:

Great course on a great piece of land

It's Grovey Baby! 2+ years

Reviewed: Updated: Played on:Jun 7, 2021 Played the course:2-4 times

Pros:

Big Park on the Mississippi River

Beautiful Property with a Pine and Oak Grove, on Sandy Ground

Good Signage, Tees, Benches, and Baskets

Good Design that offers Fun, Quick, and Aesthetically Pleasing DG from the Short Red Teepads

Blue Long Tees offer a Good variety of DG to the Course. Sometimes adding Par4 Lengths, sometimes creating a Different Fairway, and or sometimes forcing a Landing Zone

Starts out Playing in the Oak Grove. It's a really nice Area to have available for the DG community, I really enjoyed Discin in around those Oaks
Walnuts Trees here and there... usually in the Fairways where you are trying to Throw :p

6 8 9 10 14 & 17 play in the In-Between areas. Mix of Pine, Oaks, and Walnuts between the two Groves. Great mix of Different Holes to give Montissippi more balanced Discgolf

The White Pine Grove is where this Course also shines
Several Fun, Short, and Technical Holes
Along with the Giant Hallway Holes 15 & 18

Most Thorny stuff seems to be Cleared, or I just happened to not Land in any

Family and Beginner Friendly

Cons:

2 Dimensional Discgolf
Doesn't have much for Elevation changes, mostly just slightly undulating Terrain
3 and 4 have a lil Hillside, that's used for a Basket and a Long Tee though

Gravel around Baskets, is NOT of the Pea Variety
Putters can get Chewed up a bit

Can get close to Pedestrian Trail in a Couple Spots

Other Thoughts:

Paved Bike Path goes down to the River

DG on the Mighty Mississippi that's Fun for anyone in the Family

Pros:

This course was by far the best I have played at. Very easy for beginners but also offered a few long holes for advanced players

Cons:

None, everything was great.

Montissippi 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Aug 8, 2020 Played the course:once

Pros:

+ Parking, port-a-potty, garbages all located in a convenient area where the front nine and the back 9 start and end.
+ Map of park (Including course!) by garbages.
+ Intuitive navigation with a good amount of Next Tee signs
+ What little elevation there is is used well
+ Excellent mix of open/wooded and long/short holes
+ Dual concrete tees
+ Short tees offer a different line of sight to the basket, so long tees aren't just adding distance.
+ This course avoids the playground and walking paths almost entirely, I think there are 2 or 3 times when you cross the walking path, but it's always between holes.
+Friendly local players, had conversations with 4 different groups in one round, all of which gave me little tips on upcoming holes and other courses in the area.

Cons:

- Very dusty when I played, I assume it gets very muddy when it rains. Bring a towel.
- I was a little disappointed that the river didn't come into play at all, but I understand why they didn't do that as they would have had to play along the walking path too much.
- Raspberry brambles make up most of the rough. Wear long pants or control your disc better.

Other Thoughts:

I was told this course ha been up for 3 months. It looks like 30 years with how beaten in it is. My hope is that upkeep includes mowing fairways that are just dust now because the plants that sprout there will grow very fast.
This course doesn't offer anything new, but does things you've seen before very well.
A rock solid course that I will happily drive an hour to play.
This was a great way to finish a good day, despite the heat, humidity, and rain.
