The first 5 holes play on a hillside. Holes 678 play clock wise around a playground and baseball field. Basket 9 is missing, but I believe it used to be by the covered baketball courts. On the bottom of the baskets, they tell you what hole you are throwing at the distance.

You will need some good shoes for the hillside. The distances aren't what they say they are. Throwing at baskets 6,7, & 8 can be dangerous if people are around.

It's not a bad little course to learn on. The hill shots will teach you how to throw at them so your disc won't roll down hill.

I liked this course a lot more than I thought I would, probably because you get to choose the tees yourself, because there are none. Has 8 nice baskets set outside a school and baseball field, sitting some on a hill.

No tees, or a 9 basket.

This is a fun course to play at night, you can choose your own tees, and its a blast to play from the hill for some shots. You can actually throw your disc in the baseball field for some shots too.

The short, 8 basket DG course at St. Bernard school in Cincinnati is just off the interstate highway, and has some really nice Innova baskets. You have an opportunity here to play along some hillsides and practice softly flopping your upshots (drives) so you don't have rollaways. If you tell yourself all the sidewalks are OB, this course will challenge the recreational player to achieve a nine hole score of 24-26.

Starting at the parking lot (left side), and working clockwise around the space, you shoot an open uphill to hole one, then keeping your footing on the steep slope, shoot uphill again from there toward the building to basket #2. Number three scoots slightly downhill and needs to get around a utility pole and one tree. The fourth is a hyzer putt (rhbh) around the trees on the left. The fifth (angling back down toward the field below) is a good place to practice your controlled drop shot. For #6-8, see the next section. The ninth is (unofficially) the one place you can air out your arm, and go about 320' across the baseball outfield to the #5 basket.

The hole distances listed here on the website are WAY off. I'm not a great judge of distance, but I'd be surprised if any of holes 1-5 measure more than 175 feet. 6 is likely 240, 7 & 8 are maybe 220, and 9, played across the field, is a downhill 320 or so.

Holes 6, 7 & 8 are actually quite dangerous. 6 plays straight up the walking path, with a set of bleachers in your (rhbh) hyzer line, and the kiddie playground less than 40' to the right of the basket. 7 plays a line along the back of the playground, but even closer! 8 plays back down the path, and into a place where sidewalks have been laid down in strips as hillside bleacher risers for viewing the ball field below. So you need to watch for all the other park users, and try to keep your discs from getting shredded on the concrete at the same time.

There are no tees, or markers.

This course is not bad as a phys ed, school exercise course, because of the hills you need to traverse. I can just see a tough gym teacher having his kids compete for time and score. But he'd better be sure there aren't others in the space while those discs are flying everywhere! An intermediate disc golfer certainly should have the control to make this a neat putt-putt course.

There are a lot of nice amenities here for the school, including the 'water park', kids' play area and ball field nestled within the horseshoe of the school buildings.

-The park is open till 11: I play here at night after hitting some other parks earlier in the day. There is enough lighting in the park to make due. You still might want to take a flashlight in case you get into some bushes. Not a real problem if you have glow discs.

-The hills are really steep: Leads to a lot of long rolls. The rolls can turn an easy 2 into a 5 real quick if your not careful.

-No one is ever there


-Basket 9 was taken out because a kid ran into it during soccer practice or something, so there are actually 8 baskets now, but you can toss all the way across the field back to basket 4 for more of a challenge anyways. Its actually better now. If you play 9 like that its actually around 320 or so feet.

- Play the course backwards to make 18. No one is ever there. Have never had a problem with doing this.

-Really short

-No tees: You start at the parking lot, then throw from the last basket to the next.

Nice place to play after dark.
