Pros:
This is a great looking charter school. You're in a great small town. Then, there are some disc golf baskets.
- Five baskets are still in the ground. Four of the holes are gone. Only #9 is a decent hole. Slightly downhill across a small field, at either 215 or 250 feet, depending on which tee marker you may find.
- The other holes are either short and/or play on a trail.
- If the course is as maintained as well as the rest of the campus, and with the amount of wooded area here, this could be an excellent 9-hole course.
- The bear logos throughout the course / trail are very nice. Very tempting to swipe.
Cons:
Construction has led to four baskets being pulled. For another hole, it technically wasn't playable. But, do to determination, and lots of aimless wandering, I found #4.
- Can't give fair assessment of the course based on its current layout. I don't think this was the intended layout for the course.
- That said, if you're coming here to play right now, the course is terrible.
Other Thoughts:
Once construction is complete, I'll be only mildly interested in the status of the course. As in, you might an 'Oh. Ok.' out of me.
- The course shouldn't be listed anywhere. It's a safety risk to even try and navigate portions of the course.
- Safely, you should only be starting at #6. Why show up to play, at best, 4 holes?
- Just don't play here. It's not worth it. It's also unsafe, and probably trespassing.
- Maybe the course will be revitalized when construction is finished. In its current state, avoid this place.
