Pros:
- there are baskets here
- decent, open place for putting practice
- you will have it to yourself, if school isn't in session
- area is nicely maintained
Cons:
- on grounds of a very busy elementary school
- not really a course
- all baskets give the same approach/opportunity
- completely flat
- no obstacles whatsoever
- no tees, no tee signs, nothing
Other Thoughts:
There isn't much to say here. Don't be fooled, this isn't a college but more of a preparatory elementary school for rich kids. Udisc has some stories about people being treated pretty badly on this course so I was a bit nervous even being here amongst all of the pristine European luxury cars and the parents who don't leave home without a sport coat and styled hair.
There ARE baskets here, but they've been placed back by the tennis courts in a ring. There are 6 baskets I could see spaced fairly evenly with not a ton of distance between them. Unlike some of the other bad courses I played on this day, I couldn't really consider this a course because there was absolutely no difference between each of the baskets. You could use this for midrange and putting practice but that's about it and having more than 1 basket seems pointless; there are no changes, obstacles, etc. - just open mowed grass.
The baskets are basic and showing some age but are still serviceable enough. I would only come here on a weekend in the future; I felt kind of like I shouldn't be here. Originally I thought it was more of a college campus where usually walking around is more chill, but that is not the case here, and they have security all over. Hopefully the kids who go to school here use the baskets for fun, because that's one of the only suitable uses of this space.
Go here if you must bag everything, but otherwise, benefit from me playing this "course" so you don't have to. If you want a decent niner, Lime Kiln Park a bit to the north in Grafton is much better.
