Pros:
A mini-oasis consisting of a few micro ponds, some scattered trees, and a rock, found amidst a grassy slope, surrounded by concrete.
Cons:
9-single chain baskets in various states of repair, set mostly upright.
No marked tees, although UDisc had suggested tee locations, or just play safari.
Baskets were out in July, but not in January, so availability could be variable.
Other Thoughts:
Course it set in a few-acre patch of green space found between the roads, parking lots, and buildings of the Evansdale portion of the Morgantown campus.
Baskets are scattered about this space, bringing a tree or two into play, or one of the tiny ponds. Minimal shot-shaping is needed, but there are some elevation changes. Distances are quite short.
Basket#8 is evilly placed, on a narrow (less than 30' wide) "causeway" separating two of the ponds, a touchy shot for experienced players, but quite unsuitable for beginners, unless the goal is to see how many students can fit into one of these ponds.
If you park below/beside the course, you'll likely start with UDisc-tee#6; if you park above the course, tee#1.
If you happen to be passing through Morgantown and want to bag a putter-safari course in less time than it takes to listen to the B-side of a Maria Muldaur album, give it a go; otherwise, skip.
