I'm pretty much wondering what courses in the area are your favorite to play and why, and if you'd like, the worst courses you've played in Charlotte.
Being fairly new to DG, I haven't seen too many courses. My favorite all around experience at a course is Kilborne in Charlotte. Very challanging holes. Every hole is a different type of adventure, lots of variation.
My least favorite course is Squirrel Lake Park in Matthews, just east of Charlotte. Trees, trees, and yes...More trees. The park is actually a Wildlife Preserve, and lives up to the name. Not too many defined fairways. Discs are difficult to find, even if you end up with a good throw. Plenty of underbrush. Little variation, although not a bad layout idea.

Favorite: Renaissance. One of the best in the world. Fantastic greens. Unbelievable amounts of work done on it with incredible man-made structures.
Worst: Lake Park. Too wide open and uninteresting

My favorite course would have to be Reedy Creek. I have played Squirrel Lake Park and I love that course it offers alot of challenges and is fun. Yes the tress are anoying but they only make you better. There are some nice courses in Cabbarus county but not Dorton Park DGC it is way to short. North Cabbarus Park has a nice course minus hole number 5 it is missing a disc catcher.

I haven't played all of the courses in Charlotte; only the big names Kilborne, Reedy, Renny, Hornet's Nest and Sugaw Creek. As well as Elon Park. I like all of them but I'm especially fond of Kilborne. Even though I live in Concord, I call Kilborne my home course.
Renny is absolutely amazing. I just wish I lived closer to it.
I drove by Veterans Park once because I was in the area and I tried to scope out the course. By the looks of all of the Kudzu, I'm not going to make it a point to go out of my way to play that course. That looks like a disc eating course. So from a first impression stand point, Veterans would be my vote for worst course in Charlotte so far.
Oh, and a quick update... a new basket has been installed for #4 at North Cabarrus to replace the one that was stolen!

RL Smith is definitely my favorite! All of that elevation on a small mountain like this or any mountain course, ya can't go wrong with. Renaissance is also great except that the black course is gone. My least favorite, well I liked every course in Charlotte that I played but I wish Kilborne had more variety. I like it but it's not as good as Renny or RL Smith.
