Three Putt
Here is a bad Comet story for you: I moved from St. Louis to the Chicago area in 2000 and ended up buying my first house. There was literally one course within an hours drive of that house, and it took 45 minutes to get to.
. 2000 was a much different time; today there is a course five minutes from my old house and 20+ courses within 30 minutes of it so timing is everything.
Trips to the course were infrequent, but I lived next to railroad tracks and had the right of way and a line of blue spruce trees to uses to set up holes in the back yard with a Skillshot my wife bought me.

Three Putt
The four courses that were closest to me were windy places and my bag switched to Rocs, but the technical "around the spruce trees" shots at home were good for other discs. Spruce trees eat discs, though. I lost a bullet XD up in one very early on and decided to use discs I was never going to miss to throw in the back yard. I came up with a stack of I think it was 18 HD Hawks and Comets. I was throwing Roc and thought I'd never need them. I'm not sure exactly how many of these discs were Comets, but I threw Comets more than Hawks so I'm betting the majority of them were Comets, and they probably all were stock Saturn stamped Comets. I'd throw them and if I got them too high and up in the spruce trees, they were gone.
BUT WAIT...it gets worse.
I had a riding mower to take care of the right of way. One day after some big winds I was mowing and heard a "CRUNCH" which made me stop; trains would sometimes throw parts into the right of way and you had to be careful not to run over one and ruin the mower. Those were usually close to the tracks and I was close to the trees, which I didn't check as well. I got off the mower thinking I'd hit a train part and messed up my mower; I found a mangled golf disc.
. it had blown out of the trees during the high winds and I killed it with the mower.

The result is that in 2000 I had 18 Tournament Pro HD Hawks and Comets. Today I from the discs that would have been in that pile I have one HD Hawks and three Tournament Pro Comets. The other 14 discs were sacrificed to the blue spruce gods along with a sweet bullet XD.
Which...compared to some other things I've done, losing a stack of old Comets is probably fairly far down my stupidity and regret list. It's on the list, though.
