I usually let the dye set for a day or 2 and then use the oops. I use a bondo squeegee to scrape off the glue and then a rag to do the final clean up. Some people use the citrus based goo gone stuff, but I can not vouch for their effectiveness. Ooops was the first thing I tried and it has worked great. The only time I got any smearing or fading was when the dye had not set all the way. I use an LG intermediate vinyl and most of the glue comes off with the vinyl. Good luck!

Ive never heard of white Rit. I know they have a whitening agent but its more of a blueing effect I think. I dont think its possible to actually dye white, you could paint white if you chose to but not dye it. A lighter color will not lighten on a darker colored disc. The only way to do it would be to start with a white disc, and dye the red parts red. Hope this helps.

I use an actual vinyl transfer tape. I bought a 12" X 300ft roll a while back. I dont know the exact brand it was a while ago but you can find it online. I never had to many issues with the masking tape I used the biggest rolls that I could find 3" so I didnt have to put a bunch of strips across. I have heard of people also using contact paper as a transfer medium havent ever tried it though. Try not pressing the vinyl to the masking tape to much just enough to get the backing paper off. Some times when I peel back the transfer tape the vinyl will peel up. I usually peel the tape off very slowly and when you see the vinyl start to lift I will use my xacto and carefully try to free it and apply it to the disc. Usually its the edges that give you issues, if you can get them to stick your all set. I would try experimenting with small pieces of vinyl and different tack transfer mediums until you find one that works. I need to start selling dye supplies. Good Luck!

I havent actually drawn directly on the vinyl and cut it out but I dont see why it wouldnt work. A light table isnt a bad idea helps with centering the design and what not when your cutting off the disc. You can make your own pretty easily and cheaply if you want theres really not alot to them. One method I used at first was using printable sticker paper and I would print the design on it and apply it to the disc then cut it out. I was pretty quick to buy a plotter once I got hooked on dyeing. It has paid for its self 5X over and I have had it less than 1yr.You can pick one up for $275-$400 with $9.99 shipping here www.uscutter.com . It seems lik alot of loot but if you are some what artistic and mildly motivated you can make some decent side money off one. I have done: vehicle decals, etched glass, dye and paint stencils, interior design decals, magnetic signs, screen print stencils.Sorry Im rambling its like 2am and Im a lil buzzzy. Time to crash. Good luck with the dyes.

Yeah, I'll trade you a DX sidewinder for a star trex. Send the t rex in the mail and when I get it , i'll send you the sidewinder. That's how we do it in Nuangola.

They are working good. I use them when its too far for my putter, but too close for the midrange. Kind of a long approach disc. Works great
