Oh, I don't blame ya, the Avenger SS is a great disc, I just never threw it once I could push my gazelle out as far as I can now. If I come across another though, I'll be sure to hit you up

Oh, they killed the fun right after you came in. I'm blaming you, you know. =.P You should have joined in, like old times

Thanks for the kind words. I beat Alan Layh last year and he beat me this year. I made him play his best to win and he came through. He deserved it.
As far as the course goes, it definitely helps to play here a few times to develop strategies, lines, etc. Playing two rounds in a day can be taxing at the Castle.
It was nice to meet you, too. If you ever decide to come down again, let me know and maybe I can get some guys together to play the course.

    What language is ICYHN?

Bro D is an enigma wrapped in a mystery, he'll only be somewhere definitively if he says as much. (I would have definitely watched the Sat. rounds if that crazy storm didn't come in).

I'm not exactly "back." I've just been online for a few days while I fix my bro's laptop and use his internet, lol. I'm doing quite fantastic though! I'll have a better job soon I hope, (putting in applications SUCKS!) But, I have money to pay bills, just not a constant flow of money. So I can't really afford much right now. XD

Nope, I wasn't there. Saturday I was in Leland with friends and Sunday I went and played Kure Beach instead.

Castle Hayne is one of those courses that greatly behooves you if you can throw a putter well and far, it makes up for a lot of bad drives. Either way, it always kicks my butt the first couple of rounds on it when I come back to play it and I basically learned to play there so don't feel too bad.

Ouch. I know those Sat. rounds couldn't have been much fun with all that wind. I ended up staying in Leland and getting wasted, playing cards, and having fun with my buddy's 2-3 year old. Cute little bastard.

I'm surprised your Sun. rounds were worse though, you must have been thinking/trying too hard. But yeah, it's definitely a course you should warm up and scout before you play. My buddy Drew placed 2nd in the Intermediates! Said that a major sandbagger beat him, oh well.
