I was going to wait till sunday to post my next review, but your post made me change my mind. I am however out of courses to review as Covid canceled all my planned family trips.

Certainly looks that way. Oh well, can't please everyone, and those baskets were super rusty. I dig your reviews, maybe we can get a round in one of these days. I have family and friends in Texas. If you ever come up to the KC area be sure and reach out.

Heritage Park is awesome, but it can be quite muddy. Given the recent rain, I'm sure it's a mess.

Overbearing is quite understated, but I think you made the right decision. However, it does feel as if he is responsible for about a quarter-disc reduction in the course rating. If it ever stops raining around here, I'm thinking of heading out to Saddle Hills to see what's new.

I did, indeed, enjoy your review. Like you, I enjoy the rugged terrain, but the basket locations really bother me at Saddle Hills. If the different positions are on the same line, or at least in the same general direction, I am willing to throw and figure it out on my second shot. At Saddle Hills, too many of them are completely different and blind from the tee. I have tried very hard to keep my animus for the designer out of my review, but I'm not sure I completely succeeded. I am glad that your unbiased review is now the most-recent one for the course.

The designer has posted comments again on all reviews (except his, imagine that!). They are toned down and really downplay the significance of the sewage leak, but they are not nearly as nasty as before.

Looks like justice prevailed. I wonder if the "designer" was informed about this.

The course update has been changed. It mentions the incident in May but makes it sound like a minor deal that was only a problem for a few hours instead of a leak that lasted 2 1/2 hours and was still a concern for the state six weeks later.

I tend to agree that a ban is a bit strong, but something to keep him from inflating his course (and harassing honest reviewers) seems to be in order. Not sure how to broach that without causing a major uproar.
