It was from the Circuit event. It was a very spongy opaque core. The core felt neither like standard Neutron or standard Plaz... I guess Neutron :\

The Prism rims are still weighted, just with a clear agent.

Has this been confirmed? I only remember seeing that someone cut out the rim from one Prism disc and showed that the weight was less than with Neutron or Proton disc with normal overmold: https://throwingplastic.com/prismatic-overmolds/

This made a lot of sense since my arm is fairly well aged already. This sexy mofo was sitting on a shelf at the shop yesterday begging me to take it home. Haven't played a round in two months but this one will get some air this weekend. 165g on the nose, I'll blame you if I don't like it.

I sure like 165ish Envies.. I have a couple heavy neutrons for dabbling but 165 is the mainstay of my love affair. Good grab!

I guess it makes sense on why the Prisms Insanities were so flippy. Are all the prism discs flippy compared to there GYRO cousins?

Saw one just like it at PIAS today and had it in a stack of potential considerations. Ended up putting it back because it was $20. My plasma envy is so beat up now it flies like a proxy.

Anyone throw the inspire? Was checking out some at PIAS today and they feel great in the hand. Flight numbers make it seem similar to switch/relay.

I liked it initially but it turned into a turd once it broke in. It's kinda weird, usually I don't much like MVP discs when they are new and come to love them after the "new disc smell" (-InD4) wears off but the Inspire just didn't work with my throw style. Its one of the reasons I don't even throw a replacement disc till I have given it the teepad treatment.

But I just got a sweet 172g plasma about a week before I took my hiatus and I've barely thrown it. They're both going into my disced down bag tomorrow. Gonna hate it if I love the Eclipse, I'll hafta get moar.

Since there seem to be varying experiences I'm going to be as specific as possible. I have one clear Prism Pyro. It was stickered 176, but scales 177.8g. It is pink with a yellow rim.

I throw this disc primarily BH off the tee and for FH approaches. I think the flight #'s are pretty dead on @ 5/4/0/2.5. Spike shots are very true and accurate. It does not drift forward on a hyzer and flies very close to the Deflector in general from any amount of hyzer on release. It starts to differentiate from it's MVP brother on flat shots. Where the D has almost a + HSS from flat, the Pyro will hold flat for a good percentage of it's flight. It still has the dump fade of a true overstable disc at the end rather than something more Roc-ey.

For my game the Pyro excels at flex shots. It will do the unnatural bends that compliment the true straight lines of my Matrix perfectly. It blows the Drone away in this regard, and flexes both on varying lines and with great predictability. The last disc I carried that I pulled off the lines I get with my Pyro was a CE Q-Sentinel. It really shows it's glide when flexing, and I can exaggerate my release angle and power down for an interesting variety of lines.
