I'm curious, I've been looking for the same thing for a while now and was thinking about beating up a lighter weight electron ion to see if this worked. Have you tried using a lighter weight ion at all?

yeah they are not flippy they just dont handle the wind but fly as normal ions

It would take some time, but would a pretty beat up plaz ion work?

Fwiw...I have a worked in soft proton anode I use for these types of shots.

I've been following this discussion and I use the Vertex for these shots. It is a short mid that feels much more like a putter in hand and flight. I have a really flat one that pretty much flips up from hyzer and glides straight with almost no fade, and a higher shoulder one that stands up and turns. The flippy one has more glide and can fly on some ridiculous lateral lines. The other is like a beat stable putter.

Has anyone beaten Neutron Resistor to straight? I have one which I have bagged since first release but it still hooks quite a bit. On the other hand I only started to use it almost every round recently, so it ia not particularly beat up even thought it is old.

I have one from shortly after release and it carries straight for a good but still has a decent fade. I love it. Went from utility overstable to usable backhand overstable

i smashed on a electron ion against a brick wall for a while and got it wavy and puddle top and clover top and it still wasnt "flippy" it had a mild turn but thats about it

Yeah I didn't really get on with the theory but I did like the vertex and I'm usually a tangent guy . the theory was like a tangent with 6 months of wear, vertex is like 2yrs + wear.

The Vertex is smaller diameter, shorter winged, with a blunter profile than Tangent/Alias/Theory. It works tighter lines over shorter distances than those more traditional mids.
