I wonder if the soft p-line they used for P1xs would work.

DinosaurThunder 05-10-2017 07:55 AM

Five questions -

1) when was Nate Sexton quietly removed from the site being listed as a team member? I'm guessing it was awhile ago now and makes sense with his Innova contract. It seems like good cross branding to have him listed or Jerm for that matter since they use the P2 and a few other DM molds.

2) Does the new P3x have a bead? From the videos posted of Erno throwing the new mold looks like you made a disc that will compete with the Zone!

3) Can we get Sexton DD's with a similar looking stamp to the McBeth Pdx?

4) Have you ever thought of making a mini stamp run of your old art work? I'm thinking slightly bigger than your mini shield stamps. It would be sick to have a some s-line DD's with a mini hysteria stamp off center or something like that - imagine what the x-outs would look like :D

5) Can I be a consultant for an FDx mold? (only slightly kidding lol) I will work for free - just need something to help fill my fairway utility spot!

Jenga54 05-10-2017 08:08 AM

Nate is still there

Maybe I'm missing the obvious - I see Nate Perkins but not Sexton.

tampabay 05-10-2017 11:17 AM

I see Sexton on Innova's team page but not Discmania's.

I also see that Avery Jenkins is listed for both Innova and Discmania

Reniger 05-10-2017 11:50 AM

Nate and Jerm were talking about the sponsorship in a recent video. While they are still allowed to use all Innova family brands (Discmania, Hyzerbomb, Millennium) the companies did not continue the dual-sponsorship. So, they are both only Innova sponsored, even though they throw P2s, PDs, ect.

thats a great idea! side note, i like to call my fd2 the hyena and would love to see a throw back horror stamp for that mold.

Dear Discmania. Please make Swirly
S-Line TD's Make em' NOT super domey, fairly firm and 175g.......to get the flight 10/5/-1.5/1

I have a STD (haha yeah) that flies great like that, but I got another one that is softer and flippier. Swirly line of these would be awesome. Slightly understable control driver.

ThomasOrion 05-16-2017 03:33 PM

Also a slightly more HSS FD. Please.

For $40 you can get a used 2nd Run FD. That's what you're looking for.

OH I know, haha they need to make a run that is a little stable, not much more, just a tiiiiinge.

I have a Max weight C- Glow and its pretty darn nice. Its actually almost TOO LONG for my fairways its so buttery and glidey. FD was a great mold tho, love it.

Quinntastic 05-16-2017 11:53 PM

Just got my new Retro stamp P3. Love it, very clean feeling in the hands, flys super nice and great feel. Can I expect more of this in future C-line runs?

Two of those proto md4 have surfaced on FB and Jussi confirmed the actual MD4 will be much different in look/feel than the one pictured there.

you need some of the older rush stamped std's, all of the oranges, pinks and whites i ever owned were exactly what you describe, aside from the swirl part.

booter 05-17-2017 11:24 AM

we just need some S line fd2's ,i really feel that one of those that is broken in some, will fly like a 2nd run fd.

Are they flatter than regular c-lines?

Firm Rush stamp white and blues are the most stable with sharper fade out of all the s-line TD's I've tried. I have tried one pink that is flippy and a few reds that were flippy as well. Compared to a roadrunner which slowly fades after the turn, S-TD's have sharper fade even when flippy. I believe some of the mini-stamp STDs are old runs from the rush stamp days. I also have a few mini-shield bright green and blues that are a little softer with more dome that are stable but with out the sharper fade at the end. All are great discs and I throw them tons. In my bag I have two 171 firm white rush stamps (one newer for straight and one beat for flippy lines) and a red 168 pat# S-pd for overstable. I love this slot in my bag. I also carry an overstable flat champ thunderbird for side arms. If they make Swirl-TD's I hope they are as stable and stiff as the older rush runs.

which discmania account? I can't find it in all their accounts.. discmaniatour, discmaniastore, discmaniadiscs, discmaniacombine or teamdiscmania??

I mainly just want to see the profile compared to the regular p3.

Nevermind.. found it. I just want to see the disc honestly. It's probably the harp they have wanted.

booter 05-17-2017 03:22 PM

all that is really known is that it is beaded and obviously overstable.

Any plans on releasing the CD2 in standard S-line? I absolutely LOVE my Swirly S-line CD2's, and would love to at least see them produced in standard S-line.

This has got to be my top want from Discmania also. S-line Cd2's are amazing and a disc I wish I had decided to add to my bag long before I did. But finding good looking, easy to see Swirly ones is tough.....Standard s-line would make that easier

ILUVSMGS18 05-19-2017 09:08 PM

I want to see CD2s and CD3s in S-Line. They both are nice straight fliers and S-Line would make for easier cycling to pair with a PD or PDx and FD3. This and something between a PD2 and the DDx or a version of one of the two of them and my distance drivers could be all Discmania. S-FD2s as well would turn my drivers all to Discmania. MD4 in C and P as well as a slightly more OS P1x (P2x?) and I could go all DM.

The S Line is by far my favorite plastic and it's kept me from ordering some of these molds because I can't grip C Line that well.

Bet you feel silly now that the Colt is out in Star plastic already... ever look across the street

I guess now that I just stocked up on a half dozen G Lines for a perfect winter bag, I'll take a GP1x to go with the rest...

But also an S Line too

For Christmas I'd like,

S Line FD2
S Line P1X
S Line FD1 (8/5/0/2)
Guessing the MD4 will replace the GM, so I'll add it here again... in S Line
S Line P3 (solid colors)

PS if you only have pink SLine plastic that's just fine.

I'm just here to ask for S Line Plastic (NOT SWIRLY!)

sandelius 05-20-2017 12:27 AM

s-md3, s-fd3, s-cd2 please!

Flick Maniac 05-20-2017 01:43 AM

Yeah swirly S-CD2s are in a lot of players bags, but sadly they are hard to get and cost close to 30€

Standard run would be guaranteed hit

Strauss 05-20-2017 09:04 PM

Why Discmania doesn't run all their molds in standard production S-line still confuses me. I really wish they could ramp up their production, at least to produce all their current molds in their standard plastic choices.

But really though, S-line CD2's please!!

SD86 05-21-2017 08:50 PM

I like the C-Line CD3, and I think the S-Line CD3 would be an awesome bomber. So please make my production S-CD3 dream a reality. :) TIA.

I've seen the pictures of the prototype MD4. It looked super domey & had a bead. I heard (on here) that the final release of the MD4 won't be that prototype. I hope they make the MD4 FLAT & BEADLESS. We don't need another Gator.

The stability of the current stock run is rather flat and the overall feel of the disc is a bit more gummy than before. We have found these to be our favorite ones so far and truly make for a long flying PD2. Unfortunately, the weights we got in these ones are all max weight. What you do need to look out for, though, are the lighter ones that we have sold primarily with the Mini Huk logo on them. Those lighter ones have a considerable dome and are a bit stiffer than the rest. That entire run was in fact stiffer and domier than what we have now.

The new run of S-PD2's are rather flat, soft, and grippy. These ones will fly straighter than most PD2's we have made and are some of our favorite ones so far.
