How do first fun s-line CDs fly? any different than the current run?

talltee32 05-12-2014 10:14 PM

Can you say anything about "The King" fundraiser disc?

Sir-Hucks-A-Lot 05-13-2014 04:56 AM

Any estimates on the overstable MD3 release?

Ive only thrown the FR S-CD and not the production run. The FR have a different top like the test config PDs and in turn they fly more stable/overstable

When new they hold a pretty straight line with a good fade at the end. Pretty much how a champ viking flies when new

Its my understanding they changed the mold to make it fly more understable like a Valk

Sorry I haven't answered in a couple days!

I am not sure how the how the disc will look. We just want them to be overstable. The prototypes are Domey and wicked overstable. I don't know about the PD2's. interesting questions! we will all see together when they get here!

The First Run CD's have a lot more HSS and can be given more power

Valk would be a little too understable of a comparison. When we tested this disc it it was super straight with a good fade at the end. But, it could be thrown on a healthy anhyzer and fight back the whole way. I must say, it's staying in my bag. It's a pretty sweet disc, I think it lives up to the name Control Driver perfectly.

When are we going to see GStar PDs?

Why haven't you already released GStar PDs?

you going to release the GStar PD with an unbelievably cool stamp that's so beautiful and makes this much anticipated disc so perfect that even Paul McBeth cries tears of elation when he lays his hands on his first one?

After you release the GStar PD, what more could you possibly hope to accomplish as a manufacture of disc golf, as this will likely be your magnum opus? Do you have any plans to commit suicide shortly after, not unlike Kraven after he defeated Spider-Man?

The S-line GM I acquired last year was startling to me. It was in an opaque C-Line plastic and it had a bead! The only gremlins I have previously handled were the short run of beadless gremlins run in 2007. I want more of the beadless gremlins that existed for that short time.

Soups 05-18-2014 04:10 PM

Is there any way of getting the cool looking Lizotte stamp anymore?

fasteddie 05-18-2014 06:02 PM

EO 2013 Preliminary "Viper" S-PDs hanging around the warehouse?

I've been looking for two for a while

it has a distinctive stamp with a coiled up snake in the foreground, and a basket on a hill in the back round.

I would love to see a re release of that stamp.

I can't find them; maybe they have sold out.

Soups 05-19-2014 12:30 PM

Scrap that. Found 'em.

fasteddie 05-19-2014 05:37 PM

(this is simply an account of my train of thought during 1 min period today.)

well I got my new g*pds in today.

they look beautiful!

when I picked them up out of the box along with yet another 10% off coupon (**** your market strategist), I noticed there was something else too!

I got really really excited... had discmania noticed my brand loyalty and seeing how much I've been spending on there new store?! Recognizing me with a little somthing extra?

WHAT ARE YOU LITTLE GOLD THING?

a charm? a bag tag? maybe a cool key chain>??!!!

it was a piece of chocolate.. heart shaped..

Thanks Discmania :)

How close are we to P-Line FDs?

(I'm just going to ask this every week until we get them ;) )

rallyguy 05-20-2014 08:12 PM

Are the odds good that the discs already in G line will turn into regular production runs? I'm debating a G line FD but don't want to get one and then be out of luck trying to get more if I love it.

blammo 05-23-2014 12:20 PM

Woooooooo! Just made my first purchase from the Discmania store. I was waiting for G*PDs, got a purple 166g and an orange g*FD. Hoping for cool stamps, especially on my purple PD :)

rallyguy 05-26-2014 08:28 PM

Will there be more G line discs? I'd love to see a G TD :D

Jozzz 05-26-2014 08:56 PM

Boo. G-PD2!

rallyguy 05-26-2014 09:41 PM

Haha you guys with your ability to throw fast discs...I secretly envy you.
I guess they could make them both and I'd be ok with that :D

rarintal 05-28-2014 12:31 AM

Sorry I've been quite busy guys! I will try my hardest to make more time!

Sorry no new information there. What about trying the G-LINE FD?

Once they are produced they are most likely going to be a production run. Especially the mainstays like the PD and the FD.

Couldn't agree more! The shield stamp looks great being feature prominently. If FD's get this stamp down the line my bank account is in big trouble

SlappyMcGruff 05-28-2014 10:13 AM

Glad I was able to grab some P2s and a PD2 with the mini stamp

Jozzz 05-28-2014 10:50 PM

Any insight into what Jussi and Simon are throwing at the Japan Open?

crd 81 05-28-2014 10:57 PM

Correct me if I'm wrong, but Discmania outsources the production of their discs to Innova, correct? If so, how much quality control does Discmania have in the production of their discs. I ask because Innova has made some mistakes (+ molds) on some of your discs when producing them.

mtak127 05-29-2014 11:20 AM

I saw on innovastore.net they have the pro shop marbled minis with the discmania shield logo on them....any chance those will hit the discmania store in the USA??

fasteddie 05-29-2014 11:41 AM

There are still LOTS of products on the innovastore.net that I (as well as fellow discmaniacs I'm sure) that we would like to see brought over/made available on the U.S discmania store. PLEASE MAKE THIS HAPPEN!!!

There are minis on the US site. And the last minis I bought(pink and purple) were a little swirly.

5QU166Y 05-29-2014 10:39 PM

Are there any plans to run some discs (specifically the P2) in the XT-line plastic? I know that I would be happy to buy quite a few if they were released.

Yeah, I saw those minis but im talking more about the ones that are listed on both the innovastore.net website (which truly does have a bunch of goodies) They look just like the marbled minis from the Innova Pro Shop but with the Discmania shield stamp.

tu-f-o 05-30-2014 01:52 AM

not sure if you answered this, but someone on page like 1 or 2 asked if C MD2's would be very flat.
yea? no?

You may want to check out the most recent run. They are VERY flat. I'm not sure how much I like them, as I throw MD3s, too, and the super flat MD2s feel very, very close to those. I really like my domey, opaque MD2s for annies and uphill turnovers.

mtak127 05-31-2014 12:24 PM

Oh and one more thing...some dri fit shirts with the shield would be nice as well

DinosaurThunder 05-31-2014 12:25 PM

Will the mini shield stamp be a regular instock for store?

We have our own quality control as well. We did have the 2nd run PD come out with a plus mold but since then it hasn't happened. The quality control at the Discmania Store is even higher. We try to list the product as exactly what it is so you all know what you are getting.

Our Mini's are slightly marbled, but not quite as extreme as the ones they have. We will keep this in mind for the future.

We are working on it. but, we want to make sure you guys get the absolute best products before we even think about releasing them!

Were you able to throw any of the 150 class discs before the team flew out? Any mold you were surprised by at that weight?

I don't want to steal Ryan's thunder, he will have good info for this, but I can say that the 150 PD's are popular out here.
