Love for the Gazelle

1 Attachment(s)
With threads out there for Leo, TBs and every other disc out there, and i did not check if there was one for Gazelles, so I thought I would start one.

Here is my collection. And I have 2 in the bag, an 11x and a champ one. If someones knows how to make the pic larger please do so.

Eco81 06-24-2012 08:42 PM

Really no love for the gazelle

chickenonabun 06-24-2012 10:28 PM

There has been gazelle threads in the past, there is just not nearly the following that discs like the teebird have for them.

Three Putt 06-25-2012 12:30 AM

There is a Gazelle lovers social group:

Gazelle with it or the hell with it

billnchristy was big into the Gazelle for a bit. Maybe he still is.

blammo 06-25-2012 04:18 AM

I'll get pictures of the whole collection up tomorrow. Here's my first, still my primary thrower, purchased last year from TxDiscGolfBoy:

I have never thrown one, but it might be the disc I was looking for. I just wish they were readily available in other plastics (not just dx). I need something to compliment my JLS in the fairway division.

^^^^^
You can find them in glo champ plastic for under $15 if you really want one. DGV has x outs in stock

J-Mo 06-25-2012 12:24 PM

I love the Gaz.

I had one for about...15 years before it finally broke.

I threw an ace with it at Newport News DG course hole 8, then on the next round...same hole 8, threw the Gaz and broke it against a tree. I guess it was telling me "hey dude...I gave you 15 years of flying, and I'm finishing with an ace, I'm done!"

chillis 06-25-2012 12:49 PM

I was considering purchasing one to try out as I'd like to add a stable midrange disc to my arsenal. It would fill a void in my bag.

They're hard to find tho, imo

Eco81 06-25-2012 01:00 PM

the 10x and 11x are kinda expensive but that glo champ one you can find for cheap

c_a_miller 06-25-2012 01:01 PM

If I may ask, what is the point of having more than one of the same disc in the same plastic? The weight is different or what?

moose-mdg 06-25-2012 01:09 PM

if anyone is looking to buy i got 15 or so to choose from...little low on cash and the kids got to eat!

jdw80550 06-25-2012 01:23 PM

A couple of the Champ Glows I've done. The Vision is in the bag, along with two other Champ Glows. I like the 11x and 10x but for the price of one I can get two glows. Makes me feel better if I loose them. I'll post more later.

moose, i have that orange with white stamp's twin. let me have that one! or...the red with white stamp. come on!

b-mart 06-25-2012 01:28 PM

Gazelle was one of the first three discs I bought. Being that I've only ever seen them in DX, I've never seen the need to buy another. TL kind of took it's place. Now that I'm seeing this about the Champ Glow ones though... Might have to make space in the bag for another. Those KC Pros look a lot like Champs too. How did I not know they existed?

I had a hot pink KC pro Gazelle that was my go-to disc in the wind but after I lost it, I never got around to replacing it. I do miss it every once in a while esp on really windy rounds.

moose-mdg 06-25-2012 03:21 PM

if you look at the "G" they all have the same wear on them..but look at INNOVA and you can tell the difference

Eco81 06-25-2012 03:22 PM

great point. the dyed one is still hand down my favorite
