I think i may be selling my reaming 11xs and only throwing glows from now on. Ridiculous, just friggin ridiculous

^^^^^
Don't do anything stupid and post those gazelles on eBay. I will give you fair market value for anything you want to sell

Eco81 03-22-2013 07:53 AM

I looked a the listing that have been sold on ebay and it seems like the prices have gone up a little. Anything new and max weight is going to bring in a lot money. Some of the lighter newer ones are still bringing larger then normal prices. Anything above 160g and new with no ink or ver close to new should bring over $50 and as the weight goes up so does the price.

This listing blows my mind thought
http://www.ebay.com/itm/KEN-CLIMO-11...item589d91941b

It's a nice disc in a kinda rareish color but an asking price on $125 is unreal

digital 03-22-2013 07:57 AM

the seller doesn't...ha.

Eco81 03-22-2013 08:04 AM

I know. This is the 2nd time he has listed that disc for the same price

digital 03-22-2013 08:06 AM

likely the 2nd of many...oh well.

Eco81 03-22-2013 08:20 AM

Hopefully ur not the guy listing that gazelle. I guess if at first you don't succeed try try again

I would disagree on "a little". Its seems like they've nearly doubled in the last year to 18 months.

I had never heard of anyone paying more than $40ish for a 11x gazelle this time last last year. Last summer i heard $50. In January I sold one for $75....and now new max weight...$99 on ebay.

The first 11x gazelle i bought i paid $25 for it was new and rare flyfye. That was prolly in 2006-07 and i was consistently paying between 30-40 for a couple years.

This is the reason that I decided to start switching to Eagles then Escapes. Good Gazelles got too pricy, and champ glows can be difficult to pick up when you really need them. :(

THIS

I just found out that Innova is not currently offering the glow gazelle as a cfr disc. They do change this list often, so i t could pop up again at any time. But as of now, there's only the GGC available in retail at basically $25 a pop shipped :mad: I couldn't find anyone else selling them, x-outs either.

Eco81 03-22-2013 09:21 AM

I am sure they will come up again and DGV has some of the Vegas ones. Not sure if they are an good but they are out there.

blammo 03-22-2013 09:31 AM

Hero Disc USA has lighter ones. http://www.herodiscusa.com/japan-open-glow-gazelle.html
Been wanting one, but shipping & handling...

Those are the ones i has talking about. From the GCC in Vegas. I bought two a few weeks ago(the ones i posted a few pages back).

Just buying two i was right at 50:sick:

Eco81 03-22-2013 12:55 PM

That's a 2 for 1 deal when compared to a normal kc pro. And the glo plastic I have seems to last and breaking kinda slow

Eco81 04-15-2013 01:02 PM

Got my 1st ace yesterday with a red 11x gazelle. Hole 4 nockamixon state park 246 ft par 3. Just another reason as to why the gazelle is a sweet disc. Will post pics of the disc tonight

tkaiser 04-22-2013 07:14 PM

I just got a light weight Gazelle 11x, it has to be in the mid 150's. Amazing disc. I like how stable it is even that light. Plus it is gummy as all get out. Why can't they make plastic like that now???

DanJon 04-22-2013 07:34 PM

I want to know why they don't run the gazelle in some good champ plastic again. Why only glo champ?

I would think they would sell like hot cakes. Nothing else like it.

Because they're dicks. I don't think they're doing Glo Champ right now either. You'd think they'd want to get all of the money that we the throwers are giving to people for the old discs. I dropped 50 on a pair of 11x's a few months ago and still can't bring myself to throw them. Too much asphalt on my local course. But if they came out with production Champ Gazelles I'd give them a lot more than 50 because I wouldn't be as afraid to beat the hell out of them.

jsc430 04-22-2013 07:56 PM

^Indeed, champ glos are not currently on the cfr list. It could be back.

Quick, everybody grab their pitch forks!

jivey311 04-22-2013 09:34 PM

Is there any regular production disc that flies like a glow gazelle? Any brand.

At my arm speed, a Teebird is pretty close, but a little longer. Sort of a Glow Gazelle L. :-D

I prefer the DX Gazelle for the turn and fade. A glow Gazelle is all fade and no turn. :-|

jivey311 04-23-2013 12:01 AM

Ya I've tried teebirds but I just love my glow gazelles. Just looking for an easier to find replacement/backup. I'm only down to 1 backup left!

primal dg 04-23-2013 12:50 AM

I've never seen gazelles in real life... None sold in the local stores nor anyone throwing them.

Eco81 05-16-2013 09:05 PM

^^^^
That's weird

Hoping for a run of pro shop jolly rancher gazelles

That would be awesome. I'd have to pick up at least five. I miss my 11x kc pro

Eco81 05-25-2013 05:54 PM

No but I really want one. I need a newer stable Gazelle and those look perfect.

An Eagle X is a little longer but has a very similar flight path, a star or champ eagle will be closest to the glow gazelles I've thrown.

Eco81 05-29-2013 06:03 PM

Who got one of the glo gazelles from DGV and has throw it? How does it throw?

Eco81 06-11-2013 08:19 AM

Anyone get one of the glo gazelles from DGV yet and thrown it?

blammo 06-11-2013 09:01 AM

Jolly Launcher Pro Shop Gazelle would be awesome. They seem to only make those new run fairway drivers in max weight though, which is a shame since the Gazelle is wonderful in lower weights too. If champ Terns can be molded at 161g, lighter Gazelles should be no problem. Give us classic circle stamps on new jolly launcher plastic, Innova!

jsc430 06-11-2013 09:05 AM

I feel like the champ gazelle is coming, but that's just a hunch. I mean all those champ circle stamp discs, gazelle has to be next right?

I'm hoping for another mcbeth sig to get it rolling, he's really the only one one tour i know of that throws them.

As for the dgv CFR gazelle, i have one. But its in a long line of back ups. Prolly won't get thrown for a while

Eco81 06-11-2013 09:16 AM

^^^^
I did not know he threw them?

I would assume that with the teebird, eagle and cheetah done that the gazelle has to be next. Either of the circle stamps would be nice

blammo 06-11-2013 10:31 AM

I know DGCR is a tiny sampling of the disc golf world, but Gazelles SEEM to be way more popular than Cheetahs. Not hating on the Cheetah, but I don't remember anyone asking for new run champion Cheetahs. Has anyone thrown one of those? I know they're similar to Gazelles, and I heard they were coming out more stable than a Cheetah is supposed to fly...almost Gazelle-like?

Eco81 06-12-2013 09:29 AM

i alos heard that they came out more stable and if they made gazelles and they came out more stable they would be close to a teebird and that would be nice as well as long as they are on the flat side

AlexD243 06-13-2013 09:01 AM

The Gazelle is my favorite and most used disc since i have started playing.

You're doing it right!

b-mart 06-19-2013 12:29 PM

Anyone else see this?

http://www.ebay.com/itm/SUPER-RARE-W...item3cd2b2a3d1

And I thought the overpricing on the 11x's on Ebay was horrendous... That's a sweet disc and I would love to have it (even unsigned), but really... I could buy over 40 throwers for that. Or three KC Pro's at Ebay prices :D.

jsc430 06-19-2013 12:49 PM

^yea, that's a joke. Haven't you ever heard of couch cruiser? If not, just look at his other auctions. He has a used black one just like it. I think he wants $100 for it.

I actually have a mint black with gold stamp 4x gazelle. I believe its signed too. I can't remember.

If anybody is interested....half (of his) price ;)

Eco81 06-19-2013 02:56 PM

The other 9-11x gazelles listed on eBay right now are out of control expensive.
