Sadly, a lot of people are. Seems to be the trend these days in all walks. People don't root for their favorites so much as root against everyone else, and get enjoyment out of everyone else failing more than their favorite succeeding.

Has anyone heard anything about McBeth? He's playing like a rookie. Guessing he's hurt himself in the earlier rain.

Actually said he hurt it during round one but thought it would be fine. Got worse today, and I'm sure the rain didn't help.

Hate to see anyone get injured.
Paul or Ricky or Will.
While an injury to me is an inconvenience, I can still go to work and do my job, to an athlete it can be devastating.
No joy in that.
Best wishes.
Heal up and attack USDGC!

Just watched round one and I forget the hole but he throws big uphill backhand approach from a muddy lie and he looks like he grimaces after

Sadly, I suspect you're correct. How  pathetic.

I might have cracked a joke about Hannah being too rough on him, but it wasn't malicious.

These comments were overboard. I read yours, well within bounds.

Watched round one and Paul seemed pretty limber through the whole round, even with that one miracle putt. Was that grimace on hole 8? His shot off the fairway was weird and then he followed it up by immediately shanking hole 9. Who knows though, a lot of injuries won't be unbearable until the next day. And I'm sure with him playing basically a whole season hurt he understands the importance of rest and not aggravating injuries
