i max out around the same distance and find speed 12 to 13 to go about the same distance for me but the speed 12 is easier to throw and the grip, consistency is better

would try speed 12 from MVP if they made one that was straight to forward fade

Give the Dimension and Teleport a shot. Prepare to have your mind blown. They go farther than the Octane/Mayhem/Catalyst. For me at least. Before the Mayhem was my longest driver

I have a very unconventional stack grip that makes the wide rims difficult to handle. It took me a lot of field practice to get used to the speed 13 grip, and I can't throw all of them. The 14 rims feel insanely wide to me and I don't think I could grip and rip them.

I love wide rims!!!! Just can't get them up to speed.. Bah. Love the feel of the Mayhem. It's firmly my "one day I will" driver.

Played a 3 disc skins round night before last at home. Plasma proxy took most of the skins over a eclipse Envy (1skin on a putt) and my used to love proton Anode (0). Going to give it a fair try soon with proton Spin, plasma Envy, and the returning champ plasma Proxy. Proxy just hit the gaps for 15' putts. Proving that I have square fingers, didn't remember the Anode being that beefy.

Idk. I think you could get turn on a proton mayhem. They are flippy out the box. Unless you throw under 300, then i apologize for the post.

Is it just me or are the Neutron Mayhems more overstable? I have a few N mayhems that take a good rip for some turn while a fresh max weight proton will flip out the box.

Got a 165 167? plasma, hoping to build some flip into it.. Pretty good max D in the wind though, if I ride the angles right. Reminds me a lot of my FR beat Force.

Alright you MVP specialists, what can you tell me about enclipse glow proton Ion, Anode, Vector, Axis, Deflector, Volt and Amp?

Comparable to normal proton or maybe slightly more stable, that true with all those molds?

The amp 'specially, anyone thrown a glow amp, can I expect much difference between glow volt and amp(amps have big variations between runs to my experience)?

Volt was 173g and Amp was 175g, they actually behaved as you would had expected: Volt went straight and then had hefty fade, Amp had a little more turn and less fade so a worn version of the eclipse Volt

^ Yeah I've used Glow Amps and Glow Volts - it matters on the run mostly. I've had very very Stable amps that start 7/4/0/2 and work into 7/5/-1/2 kinda - and one glow amp that was 7/6/-3/1 ish (just how I would call the #'s)

Same with the Volt, Ive gotten lucky 2 of 3 Eclipse Volts were nice n stable and flew 8/5/-0.5/2 one was 8/5/-3/? it was squirrely right away. It depends on PLH / run, etc. But in general I think Eclipse Fairway discs should be more stable

why is it every amp ive thrown has been a brick

Was just browsing the infinite discs top 100 discs thread (ever so awesomely posted by infinitedylan) and, to no surprise, the envy is way up there at #11. But, much to my surprise, the next gyro disc on there is the insanity at 36. Anyone who knows me knows I LOVE my insanity. It's my go to driver on practically every hole. I'm very shocked, however, to see it so high on that list, especially it's place among other gyros. I woulda thought several discs woulda been higher.

What do you guys think?

I had heard it was one of MVP/Axiom's better selling discs. A seasoned Inertia works a little better for me but the Insanity goes far.
