Ok...so....whats the new release.....?
|
It's gotta be CD2.
|
new disc = Discmania's equivalent of the Thunderbird?
|
I am thinking like a C-PD but with more glide and less fade, perhaps a smidge more turn. A hybrid between C-FD and C-PD. Straight, predictable, controllable. i.e. Musthave. [9|5|-1|1]?

8 5 -3 1? |
Maybe just 7 5 -3 1. Actually an understable fairway.
The PDGA approved discs list from 9-17-14 doesn't have anything new from Discmania on it, so either this isn't approved yet, or it's a C Line version of something that's not already here. However, that doesn't mean it's not a current mold of Innova (or a past one....), because the Gremlin is still listed under Innova. So it may be something that's already out there and is getting a rebrand or a rebirth. |
I bet it's already pdga approved but they havent announced it yet. Waiting for discmania to announce it first
Maybe sidewinderish? |
all this teasing they are doing is actually getting annoying. at least give us a little info if youre gonna post multiple times about upcoming releases
|
I wouldn't be surprised if this has been asked before, but I love the idea. What are the chances if sometime down the road Discmania releases a true overstable fairway driver? I'd love a small diameter one similar to a whippet or something. That's would make my day. I use the FD every round and plan on replacing my Teebird with an FD2 someday. I think with only two fairway drivers in the lineup both being great, either a super overstable or something less stable than the FD would be sweet

Nothing to add/ask, just showing some Discmania love. My bin of unhealthy 2nd Run and PD hoarding. |

and https://fbcdn-sphotos-g-a.akamaihd.n...7298d81e9e0c67 you guys are mean picking on us poor poor discgolfers. but thats why we love you. |
rock hill has cd2 in stock this week at the usdgc! Got a buddy of mine to pick me up one. Can't wait to see if it will bump my pd with my arm speed in all. Maybe next spring will be all discmania. Hey you guys want to sponser a profeshional rec player! just kidding. keep the good plastic rolling!
|
i know it's probably hard to get momentum going, not being as big as innova and whatnot, to use new plastic in your line-up . . . but . . .
for real though, g-line PD2. with some dome like the purple GPD i've got. it would be like heaven. the gstar destroyers are okay, but i have a feeling the g-line PD2 would be the new PD of the distance driver category. of course, of course, that's why it's called the PD2, but the glide gstar adds would be nuts in conjunction with the overstability of the disc. |
In my personal experience... blizzard plastic sucks.... Most of the molds/weights were too flippy to be much use, at least in comparison to their max weight counter parts. I noticed that the FS has xout blizzard PD2's in stock. Anyone throw these on a regular basis? They go all the way down to 120 g!
the discmania store doesn't even carry them as a stock item atm... |
I've been asking for g-line PD2s since Discmania announced g-line. I think they would sell tremendously well.
|
What Yellow tri-fly dyed disc was Jussi throwing at the USDGC? PD or FD2?
|
I am willing to venture PD.
|
Hey Ryan- what year did the s-line DD get the pdga approved writing under the feathers? How long were the s-line DDs without that writing produced?
Thanks! |
I just want to say I really like the new S Line stamps. Much cleaner look. Now I don't have to wipe all my PDs.
Good job. |

Is there going to be a base plastic P3? If so will the dome remain intact? I am surprised to find that this is my favorite putting putter.

I'd love a true understable mid. Been beating in a d-Md2 and its still pretty stable. Would love something to turn out of the box

Is the glow P3 the most OS P3? One coming my way as we speak, so I guess I will soon see myself. However I havent tried normal C-line P3.

Oh well, I guess it is all cosmetic and matters not a bit, if it is beefy as fxxx. But it needs to be plenty beef to kick out the Premium Jokeri. |
Any chance for a r-pro/lady line/stupid soft d-line special run Gremlin? Us cold weather players need something with a low shoulder and lots of grip. :) just a thought!
