To me they were unfortunately slick and much less stable. And the flashing was intrusive.

But some of those super swirly rgl pures make me want to reconsider trying then again.

Let us know how it flies.

I bought a RGL Pure last fall for a US compliment to the Judge. I was actually hoping it would turn a bit more. I like it though. Trimmed the flash off.

I got the disc. It is really nice looking, Black with Silver/Hologram-ish Stamp. 173.0g scaled. It does feel a little slick, if it were wet I would probably not like the grip, the flashing is a little rough but I tried getting some off (What is the best way to remove flashing?)
It feels nice actually other than what people were saying about the flashing and slickness. But I think it'll be nice, and what I got it for as a straight throwing putter.
I may have to get an opto because I'd hate to discard the disc if its just the shiddy plastic. but for 15$ shipped to my door and being a beautiful disc really, im not upset. Just hope it works into a nice thrower. I'll be getting out with it this weekend.

I like to use S.O.S. pads, the steel wool with soap in them. They'll clean off dirty discs, smooth out small nicks, and have done fairly well getting mild flashing off. If that doesn't work, you'll have to go to other means. Boy Scout pocketknives come to mind. I'm sure there are other good ways, as well.

Sanding sponges. 140 grit for getting major flashing off, 180 grit for nicks and burrs.

Actually throwing the disc usually does the trick for me.

sounds good. I dont want to use any sandpaper, i feel it would scuff the actual disc plastic. I will be tossing it around a bit this weekend. I may take a razor to some other spots, but. Eh, someday maybe discs WONT have flashing. :|:|

Really digging the new 10th anny Grip Line Pures. Thinking after a few more rounds and practice putting these will feel just about perfect. Nice compliment to my Zero Pures.

I've trimmed my opto pures with an xacto before, just be careful.

First time I got an Ace with a Pure yesterday. Soft Zeroline standstill drive. <3 Pures.
