Good question, most likely no. The closest we have come so far were the golf ball white P2's we released about 2 months ago. Those were certainly stiffer than the FR ones but still had the grip and chalky feeling of those first run ones. Next best bet would be whenever we release black next time. Those may be softer than the rest, as they have been in the past.

Any idea on the next run of eagle sig discs? I want some new md3s and p2s.

I mainly just want to see the profile compared to the regular p3.

The P3 has a higher dome on it than the P3x will. You can find the video of Erno throwing his prototype P3x in his Instagram video. You will most likely not be able to find that in any of our official Discmania media outlets.

What videos are you talking about?

Firm Rush stamp white and blues are the most stable with sharper fade out of all the s-line TD's I've tried. I have tried one pink that is flippy and a few reds that were flippy as well. Compared to a roadrunner which slowly fades after the turn, S-TD's have sharper fade even when flippy. I believe some of the mini-stamp STDs are old runs from the rush stamp days. I also have a few mini-shield bright green and blues that are a little softer with more dome that are stable but with out the sharper fade at the end. All are great discs and I throw them tons. In my bag I have two 171 firm white rush stamps (one newer for straight and one beat for flippy lines) and a red 168 pat# S-pd for overstable. I love this slot in my bag. I also carry an overstable flat champ thunderbird for side arms. If they make Swirl-TD's I hope they are as stable and stiff as the older rush runs.

The older runs of TD were more stable for sure. These ones typically had a bit more dome and were considerably stiffer than the new ones are now. You will be able to tell that the new runs have more gloss to the plastic and have more grip as well. On top of all that, the new runs are a little gummier and definitely are less stable as well. We wanted the TD to fly like a TD should, so the newer plastic blend helps achieve that goal.

One day we will have such a thing. We have a few important projects to push through first and then we can head down that road. The FD2 was originally created to emulate the 2nd run FD and all runs after that initial batch came out too overstable so we had to go back to the drawing board. We are always keeping these ideas in the back of our heads so rest assured we are working on such things.

Correct, this new mold is vastly different than what that prototype was and we have tried to help make that clear to everyone out there just in case they get any funny ideas in their heads.

Good, we are glad you like it!! This is our favorite run to date and has been a pleasure to throw. You can expect more of the same from here on out. The grip on them is unrivaled by most discs we have made so far.

I have a Max weight C- Glow and its pretty darn nice. Its actually almost TOO LONG for my fairways its so buttery and glidey. FD was a great mold tho, love it.

We are always working on such a thing and want to make sure that a more overstable FD that can be coined as a “2nd run” replica will be perfect. No updates on that yet.

Agreed. We want to make all of our molds in traditional plastic at some point. This is an expensive path to go down though and we need to be mindful of our purchases as a growing company. Our goal is to expand our reaches by quite a bit soon and those stock runs are important for doing so. Stock CD2, MD3, and FD2/FD3 are front runners for some of the first molds to be stock S-Line runs. For now, no real timeline on those, however

Should be just a matter of time. Most likely not this year though. We have some other neat stuff to pump out first before we proceed with stock options for some other discs.

They should be popping up in stores now. We have been distributing all of the ones we have gotten so far so if you have a store locally that does not have what you need, have them give us a shout. We would love to help them out.

Well, we never try to imitate any mold that exists for sure. You may find that the MD4 will be a great addition to any bag and may replace a few of your overstable molds in your lineup.

These MD4’s will not be like those yellow ones emerging on the internet. As far as the profile specifics, you will find out soon

But really though, S-line CD2's please!!

S-Line CD2 is a top choice for stock releases coming soon. As far as all of the other ones to be made in all plastics, that is quite the costly purchase to make for a growing company and not the best business model to follow either. We like to take our time and make sure things are flying the way we want them to and release one at a time. The same thing goes for all companies in any industry. But to answer your plea, S-CD2 has been brought to the table.

Mystery boxes? I was unaware of such a thing. Are they on the discmania store when avail?

Flick Maniac 05-25-2017 01:51 PM

Read the Discmania Support answers. I believe S-MD3 is solidly on the list of likely std run, although now yet for a while.

Mystery boxes are often a holiday thing. Not sure they have ever happened in the summer. Black friday would be my guess.

Flick Maniac 05-30-2017 01:12 PM

I am glad to be wrong. Mystery boxes dropping June 1st.

DinosaurThunder 05-30-2017 01:42 PM

Asked eagle on a live Instagram feed of his - "what would your dream configuration of an FDx be?". I mentioned my idea of FD top and whippet bottom. He wants FD top and teebird bottom (sounds like it would give a lot more flight than my mold LOL).

Oh the eternal question: Different runs of the C-PD? Especially interested in the JL runs and how to tell them apart (if they differ enough to need separating). Wasnt there one of the new runs (9/10?) that purportedly was close to 1st run stability? I just got a pair and wanted to know what I have and if I wasnt a step up in stability, what run to look for next.

I know a few places where theres a quick rundown but I was sure there was a longer writeup about them (possibly by Discmania support or other official source) but ****ed if I was able to find it. Or I could have mixed it up with the FD listing.

Avery PD has some info in item description https://www.innovastore.fi/product/2...ine-pd-9th-run

For Finnish speaking only unfortunately...

Excellent, my secret language speaking brethren. You may have cost me 19,90€ though. :D

Flick Maniac 06-03-2017 02:57 PM

Thanks for (finally) putting some x-outs on the store website. I got a pair of pdxs. Really enjoying the way this mold flies and think it's going to take off when it goes into regular production.

All boxes are getting the mystery stamped s-line CD3

Some boxes are getting an additional x-out cd3

Other common themes - d-line p2's, x-out outs of the lizotte lizard stamp, c-line p2 x-outs, md3 x-outs, ddx cool xouts, more g-line fd2's etc. I would say it's pretty run of the mill for x-out stamped discs and most people seem pleased with the small or large box purchases.

We definitely have those on our list of priority models that will be put into production. They are not, however, scheduled at the moment. Our best answer is most likely not for this year. We just want everyone to know that it is always a topic of discussion for us.

What about swirly pink? We do our best to provide a good assortment of colors all the time in the discs we produce. Sometimes there is a larger amount of one color or another but everyone seems to prefer pink and blue for some reason. To each their own and we keep it in mind.

There are a few swirl molds on the agenda. Production these days has been awful busy and a few projects have taken longer than expected just because it is a busy time of the year. There are more swirls coming and a couple of new ones as well.

10th run PD’s tend to be one of the most overstable runs so far. 1st runs were certainly coined as the most overstable ones to date, along with the 3rd runs, but 10th is certainly comparable. Though most folks consider them to be stiffer, we feel like they may be softer than some of the others like 8th run, for example. 8th run has more dome and a lot more grip, 9th has the same dome yet has the true jolly launcher look to it, 10th run will be a bit flatter and have the same feel as the 9th runs. Both 9th and 10th do have a bit less tackiness than 8th runs do. I hope that helps and am sure it doesn’t cover a ton, but will get you started.

Interesting on Eagle's new vlog he mentions the PD3. It looks like it's super inconsistent though unless some were stamped incorrectly. Some looked like drivers while others were blunter and looked like mids or putters.
