Since Simon sold his entire bag, is there a new “in the bag” on the way? Ian said he’s throwing a DD3 and an Instinct now...
|
I know he was throwing a lot of DD3 here in Colorado (303 and flatirons tags). Wasnt sure if it were just the elevation or not, I imagine he will like them at sea level too.

How about a new run of S-PDs? Not terribly enamoured with the very OS embossed run from last year.

Was there a change to the wing on the DD3? I saw an original "Cloud Breaker" rim depth of 1.2 and recently saw an updated "DD3" rim depth of 1.1. In comparison a PD2 is 1.2 and a DDX is 1.1. That slight difference is enough for me to not really enjoy the DDX as much.

I also made the dimensions of the DDX bold that were the same as the DD3. I saw the video of Jussi saying they wanted to make the DD3 retest a little less stable from the original Cloud Breaker. The dimensions make it seem like the offspring of a PD2 and DDX. Hopefully leaning more on the side of a PD2 in feel. We shall see when I get my hands on a few. Keep on hucking my fellow Discmaniacs. |
I'm excited about the DD3 and Iron Samurai dropping tomorrow, but I'm curious if there's any updated info on when a stock run of the F2v3 will be released? Loving the Royal Rage.

That mad scramble to complete a checkout for an MD3 and DD3 was not fun.
1) put a limit on how many discs one customer can buy on new/limited releases. 2) once you click "checkout" the items in your cart should not be able to be sniped as you are selecting shipping and filling out payment. I had to reselect discs 4 times after selecting shipping. |

I forgot this was the internet and any constructive feedback would be taken as being butthurt.

Too popular, in combination with minimal supply. I've spent 3 years attempting to play the game. It's not worth the 2nd hand market prices when 3 other manufacturers have similar discs readily available at a reasonable price. The small batch runs force you to buy multiples before ever testing the disc, or run a risk of never having a backup. |

It's popular for good reason 😉 |

The discmania boat has sailed, and I am indifferent about missing it. |
This was honestly one the easiest releases to get what you wanted . I know of at least 4 shops online that were selling, two of which you could see exactly what you were ordering. There were a ton of guys on Facebook selling at great prices too and you could also pick what you got. I'll agree, ordering from Discmania can be a hassle, especially on release day, but there are so many other avenues you could have taken to get what you wanted without the pain that is ordering from Discmania. It is hard to take your complaint serious when there were so many other options to order from.

Someone posted a DD3 Stamped disc, that was engraved as a Destroyer on the bottom.
Any comment on that from Discmania? |

That was two different discs. Someone having fun.

So what you’re saying is a disc that has the exact same flight numbers and made in the same factory is part destroyer?!?!?!?
*GASP* We’ll see if this printing misstep brings the hype train to a halt... If you tell me the Scorpius or Falcon or Pharaoh has destroyer parts too I’ll show you my surprised face. |
According to Jeff Korns, it was a mistake on Innova's part at the factory and as far as he of DM knows, there were only 1 or 2 that this happened on.
That being said, my DD3's that I received all said "S LINE DD3". |
Hey Discmania. I have to know. Are you going to make P-Line PDs again someday? If not, I need to stop throwing mine, because I'm relying on it more and more...

I’ve started throwing a 167 flat s-line CD3 from a recent run and it’s fairly close right out of the box. Nice and straight ropes out to 375 |
I have found a g* cd2 to be nearly identical to an early s-pd, well seasoned s-pd or p-pd. Might try them...
|
Or even a lot of C-CD2 I dropped some beat in S, C, P line PDs from the rotatiob in favor of a C D2

I actually have a G-Line CD2 that I got from a Mystery Box. I dig it, but I'm hoping to get away from discs that I have to make an effort to find...
