So, a birdie? That's kinda like almost drawing a straight flush.

I hear ya there, I pulled out my Volts again, I'm just enjoying them even at full weight. Yeah I haven't done much disc shopping lately but stock is still decent for some things at some of my Canadian retailers and I grabbed most of what I've wanted lately. My impulse buying selection is limited. Next ones probably a Drift.

Throwing the heck out of those fission waves.. Got a massive FH drive with my 162 fission wave tonight. About 8' short of an ace on a flex and fade line.

EVERYTHING is sold out down here. You go to search all the retailers and it's all out of stock. I was thinking I might give the Reactor another shot in a fairway type role - since i can't get any fairways - but turns out they are all sold out too. Meanwhile, they gave us Teslas and Pilots... I think those might be the only molds they had in the warehouse since theyve made so **** many. :p

Haha, true enough. But it's the closest I've ever got on that hole. Except that inertia I threw pin high and 25' right.

Oddly enough my last purchase was a Tesla and eclipse pilot haha, because I wanted them!

I pulled Teslas from the bag about a year ago. I really liked them when I switched over from Innova. Good feel. Flat. Straight flight. Basicaly a fast teebird. But the distance potential for me was always subdued. I could net maybe 325'-350'.

I'm struggling right now with the shifting balance in the molds I'm using and working out the distances. I'm use to carrying a minimalist 5 mold bag - which use to be 2 x distance, 2 x Fairway, 1 x putter (Destroyer, Wraith, Teebird, Firebird, Rhyno).

I didn't have much use for the older style mids (Roc, Buzzz) - the 200-300' range was not common on the courses I played and I'd just throw a Teebird or Firebird when they were - now I just throw putters at holes in that range.

With the modern fast mids - Matrix / Reactor, my range is 275-350' while fairways are still kinda stuck at around 280-320'.

So now i'm on the course every round trying to work out - fairway or midrange - when I should probably just ditch the fairways.

What's "modern" about those mids aside from being newer gyro molds?

No but according to their lab report they're releasing this month. They said "Guess which mold it is?"

I kinda want to say Volt but I'm hoping Relay.
