All Legacy Bag

What would you use?

kevdiv48 01-02-2014 11:52 PM

Clozers for putting, approaches and short drives

Ghosts of all plastics for mid range duties

Rival/ Patriot combo for fairways

Cannon for Max D

I would go trade it all in for an all prodigy bag

Closers in premium and base plastic for driving and putting.

Ghosts in Pinnicle, Icon, and Gravity to cover all mid stabilities. (Maybe a Gauge for pure US duties)

Rival + Patriot

Cannon for max D and Rampage for strong winds.

Although I don't have an ALL Legacy bag, Legacy is starting to take control in several key spots. I don't throw their Drivers, they never clicked with me. But the Rampage and Cannon are good discs and made in great pearly Pinnacle plastic. They are also made in baseline too.

I have been enamored with Patriots and Rivals for my fairways and love the plastics. I own Icon, Pinnacle, and Sparkle plastics. All of them are great. The Patriot is easily the best disc I have in my bag next to my Truth. Those two molds have helped develop my game to new levels. When you pair the Pat and the Rival together, that is where the magic happens.

The Ghost would fill a good midrange spot, and the Gauge is a great disc to pair it with. I have never thrown either, but have been tempted to try both.

I just bought a Icon Clutch for a overstable driving putter, but the Clutch in general is a Discraft Magnet clone. Clozer is a bit less stable I believe.

Shouldn't be hard, they don't have that many discs. (And I don't mean that in a bad way.) Just get one of each. The rampage is one of the best discs out if you don't mind mega wide rims in my opinion.

Clutch putting and driving.

Ghost in icon and pinnacle and a gauge for dead straight to understable.

Rivals+patriots

Bandit for longer hyzer flip tail wind shots

A beefy cannon for controlled distance and a rampage for max distance till a cannon was beat in enough.

(Also would throw in a mongoose for hyzer flip to turnovers, but still waiting on those.)

Clozer for putting and upshots.
Pinnacle ghosts for stable midrange.
Various excel ghosts for more glide and understability.
Pinnacle rival for more over stable fairway
Icon rivalfor stable
Pinnacle patriot for under stable fairway.
Bandit for super understable/rollers
Rampage for distance.

Their line-up is almost a complete bag.

Patriot - US Fairway
Rival - Stable Fairway
Cannon - Max D
Rampage - OS Max D
Ghost - Stable Mid
Guage - US Mid
Clozer - OS Putter
Clutch - Stable Putter

The only thing they are missing imo is a truly OS mid (like a Wasp) and an OS fairway (like a firebird).

Also Plastic Stability:
OS <----> US
Pinnacle > Legend > Icon > Protege > Gravity > Excel

Durability:
Most <----> Least
Pinnacle > Legend > Icon > Protege > Excel > Gravity
