Wizard right at it

whentherainscome 12-05-2012 11:26 AM

Fuse. Nose up with the hill and thrown firm, should float in from the left, nice and easy.

robbrews 12-05-2012 11:52 AM

wind coming in over that hill wasp maybe esp pred hyzer right up to it
wind in my back wizard straight at it

b-mart 12-05-2012 12:01 PM

What the hell. I'd bring my buddy Tim and borrow his Epic just to see what it does when I throw it. Figure that wherever it goes I'll at least have an easy approach and putt for par.

Comet or gator depending on the day

benjammin172 12-05-2012 12:29 PM

Either a Leopard or a Sidewinder right at it. Maybe a Buzzz depending on how severe the elevation looks from in person

General Scales 12-05-2012 12:32 PM

ESP Comet right at that thing unless there is a lot of wind. Windy day would be a Hornet on a hyzer line at it.

renoob 12-05-2012 12:40 PM

Looks steep to me. Leopard.

prestonkuke21 12-05-2012 12:42 PM

Teebird on a Hyzer.

There's actually a little pond/drainage collection pool that you can kind of see on the left. The basket used to bring this more in play (but, was moved right). The tee is slanted upwards; increasing the toughness of the uphill needs of the toss. Even with all of that; it's a hole that should be reached pretty easily.

In the backwards layout; which is a much more fun round here; to get to that pin; requires a narrow exit from a tree line; and the little pond is much more in play.

In normal play; the hole after that one; is the best hole on the course and requires a tight entry between trees; with a fall away green.

I love the "I'd throw an OS putter at it" ... like it's not uphill. <watches all putter shots stall out and fade left, short of basket>

I mean, I can rip my Rhynos probably 250' on flat ground on a good day...and I know there are some big arms out there, but 200+ up hill? Looks like it plays more like 300+.

tallpaul 12-05-2012 01:37 PM

^^^Probably plays more like 260; but yes, this does bring the little pond into play for the right hand backhanders fadeing out to the left....

*With that said, everyone seems to throw their putters 300 ft. these days...*

That is some steep uphill.
I'm going Leopard and aiming to fall to the right of the pin.

birdman101 12-05-2012 04:19 PM

XXX thumber or a buzz RHBH

kingjames1014 12-05-2012 05:07 PM

echo star leo up the hill
Ridge to finish.

discflinger 12-05-2012 05:20 PM

Swan 2 on the hyzer line(depending on wind).

chickenonabun 12-05-2012 05:26 PM

I've played this its pretty uphill, but easily reachable with a mid. I would throw a stable star roc on a hyzer.

Buzzz straight up the gutt! And then four putt because I know a field than open is going to have some wind to torment me.

BADman 12-05-2012 08:52 PM
