You Discmaniacs let us know how the FDs fly. My bet is they are every bit as stable as the 0/1 numbers or more. Dude at the shop pointed out that they just might have a tiny bit of a concave curve on the wing. Plastic felt nice but pretty firm. My pocketbook is gonna wait on some reviews, which apparently means I won't be able to get one.

For me the updated numbers seem correct. No turn really, yet not that much fade for such a straight disc.

Works for me. I especially like to throw it forehand, something that I never used to do with FDs.

Can you compare it to an Instinct?

^yes please. Need to know if that’s the same slot!

Sadly no, since I've only ever thrown this one Instinct when they came out. (that reminds me, perhaps I should rehash my experience with one)

But here is a good comparison to Instinct and OG FD. New ones seem to fall nicely in between.

So why did I think the FD was gonna retail for $29.99? Is that just for the tour series discs? Went ahead and grabbed one for $21.99 plus tax cuz I'm curious.

Agreed that the OG FD had significant variations in stability, with the last runs being generally more/most stable.
The new FD is kinda in the middle, but not as inherently overstable as the Instinct.
I’m still field-testing the two I have, but those are my early impressions.

I throw the C-FD 300-325, for comparison’s sake.

Agreed that a Neo or Lux Logic would be a great addition.
Neo Tactics are easily available on eBay for $20-25 shipped, if you want to stock up. Haven’t thrown mine yet so unable to comment on its stability or compare it to other plastics.

Would love to from DM again, soon.

C-line discs were $13.99 when I started buying discs in 2016. Not even ten years later and we're almost at a $10 increase.

Fair to say that Innova has a monopoly on plastic as they were one of the first in the game? Importing Italian plastic only to export those discs to the U.S. is not cheap.

Innova is now charging $18-19 for stock Champ/Star discs, so the price hike has been universal.
