For me, the Panther and Patrol are superior vs. the Axis and Tangent. But when I rock an all-MVP/Axiom bag, the Axis and Tangent are good discs. |
I only said arguably! I'll go back to lurking the MVP threads:thmbup:

Are Ions still flying pretty nice these days?

I'm square fingered so I cannot comment on such things...

Honestly, I was just giving a smart a comment after all the MVP mid bashing. I've only thrown one buzzz, flat ESP and I truly assume others fly better. I bag Verdict, Roc, Comet for my mids and they all fly farther than my Envy. My buzzz however doesn't really. And I prefer throwing it. Lurks(?) |
I used to throw a cycle of wasps as my mids... the envy/proxy pretty much took all of those shots and the resistor and crave took the rest. I still carry a beaten to neutral flat Z wasp for FH rollers and when I just need more glide than the proxy or envy have.
If you are someone that skips the slow fairways, I can see where the mids would be needed more. I just don't really need them.... … though I guess that could change once my southpawness starts up:| |

Both are good, but not the same type of flight/feel/purpose IMO. |

Thinking about making another vid including a piece or gyro hardware since my Volt one went over pretty well.
Would you guys like to see any of these vids? Matrix vs. Buzzz or Roc Octane vs. Destroyer Envy vs. Judge Fireball vs. Firebird Any interest? |
the first 2 sure...

I'm a guy that bags an Envy and an Axis. I could probably drop the Axis, if I wanted to minimize. But it would hurt, for sentimental reasons.
I can throw the Axis about 300', and the Envy maybe 275'. The only real difference, for me, is that to get that D with an Envy, I need to have a little more room to get some air under it. I can get the Axis dead straight up to 300 with a low ceiling. (My baby, an early run beat TF up white/white Envy is even closer to Axis--D and glide--than the other 7 I own.) |

It’s a comparison vs a Tb3 which I didn’t think were similar but the Infinite flight ratings suggested they should be. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Slkqfzy2TiI |
