Lol...your rules are to stay at home, with exceptions of necessary travel, acquisition of necessary items. (so says the guv'ner) Disc golfing safely, is not remotely necessary.

Man, golfing would be a serious coping mechanism for in my personal, upside down life, but it is one I hope to make use of at some point...later.

I don't know how bad things are over your way YET, Dave. But, please just stay home and save lives.

See section 7. a. 1.

Well...I deserved to be called on that, Dave. The "directive" gives you leeway to travel at will to exercise and get outside to provide for healthy, safe activities.

I hope you and everyone can see the immediate danger, simply due to the exponential spread, non symptomatic and early onset spread and contagious nature of COVID, is probably an excuse for a better safe, than sorry mindset. A small sacrifice by many could save a lot of lives. I am saying help yourself, help your family and save lives. Stay home and practice your putting.

I read section 7. a. 1.

I understand that it is worded carefully only mentioning exercises like walking, riding bikes and other activities that does not use "shared equipment". Unlike disc golf that uses a shared basket. I hate text, because their is no emotion in it. I am by no means trying to scold an adult. Just wondering what the best outcome can be if you risk going out.... you shoot a -4 on your favorite course. Hit a few birdies, maybe even an ace. However the negatives... the course pulls it's baskets because people keep playing it, or you contract the covid19 virus. I personally love playing disc golf. I like everything about it and know that 95% of the people on this website are good people. With that said, you don't have anything to lose staying home. Stay Safe and choose wisely!

Some will. Some won't. For those people, disc golf is an attractive nuisance. Governments are shutting down a lot of these---not just disc golf courses---so they'll have fewer temptations. Around here, boat landings and hunting lands and beach access and other gathering places have been closed. Some of these covidiots may still gather in vacant lots and basements, just to hang out and help the virus spread; but others want, if there's not something attracting them there.

So correct me if I am wrong but are you saying that the guidelines outlined by the governor and her panel of experts in that executive order are not restrictive enough?

And worry not everyone. I'm being a good little boy scout and doing exactly what my government tells me to do.

I hope your PPE supply is holding up. I heard on NPR that folks at UM have a process for sterilizing N95 masks for reuse due to limited supply. Take care of yourself, and be well my friend. Looking forward to playing a round with you when the time is right!

Battelle has been approved to sterilize 80k N95 masks per day. That was last week, they started out 10k per day and working up to 80k per day. They are almost local to me.
