Would love input
I just started like three weeks ago and threw forehand. I got some shots 280-300'. I want to be versatile so I started trying to learn backhand and i really was terrible at it. Well I'm able to get some drives close to 300' now and when I went back to forehand I couldn't throw as far it seems, when I try to get the distance I used to I just totally mess up its confusing. I'm also curious if I'm where I should be with that distance playing almost a month. Thank you.

people who think they should be "good" after playing a month (or 3 months) are putting way too much pressure on themselves. I first played this game with some co-workers when i was about 24. I played for a year before I ever threw a disc 300' Have a good time playing and learning different types of shots and mental aspects of the game. I think if you are expecting or even hoping to be shooting 4-5 under par in a couple months you will just get frustrated. Play for fun and enjoy your progress but dont start training like you need to make the olympic team in your first year of throwing.

^true story here.

you're doing great for having such a short amount of time. you want to improve, and that matters, but remember to be patient and sometimes laugh at your body. there is an ebb and flow to improvement, so just remember to relax, and have fun!
