This is what you're looking for then. It has a very similar feel in hand but definitely can handle more power. The pink ones I've found to be the most OS so far. Give one a try and post your feedback! I'd love to hear some other thoughts.

I just realized DM only has one disc in EchoStar (DD2), any plans to run more molds in it?

The pinks can handle a fair bit of power and won't turn and burn(Similar to the orange proto's). They will hold straight and then have a very gentle hyzer finish to them.

Yeah, the Protos are noticeably more OS.

I'm digging the Oranges and Pinks because I can throw them into a smooth turnover but they have enough stability to finish flat, no worries about landing on edge and cut-rolling.


Yellow/Dayglow seems to turn a little more in this run, so you can tune the color to exactly how much power you need, which is always nice in a finesse disc.

Do you think you'll keep the MD in the bag despite seasoning MD3s? I have a load of beautiful P-lines that are getting PERFECT, and as a former Roc thrower, I wonder if I won't simply end up with a bag full of Ps and a single C or Glow for wind/downhill/hyzers.

That's a good question, and I'm looking forward to the experiment, I feel like you have to throw them differently so theoretically there's space for both. We'll have to see in reality, but I plan to keep them both in for the remainder of the season and see how it plays out.

I tried buying some disc this morning from the Discmania store and I got an "Approved-100" error. Also is there a reason why there isn't https: on the store website?

How do the 5th run C Line FDs compare to the red hybrid S Lines?

They are more HSS. Both really solid discs though. The reds are more stable than regular S lines though.

5th runs are essentially what fD's should be or are what DM wants them to be. Some turn at the right power, and some fade! Lands right in the middle. You can throw it on any line powered down, and even rip on it and get past 400. It's a beauty. I think I've been reaching for it more than my 2nd run lately. :o
