Certainly my favorite of theirs. Their rationale makes sense I guess.

I loved the Theory and Alias, but with how great the Envy and Proxy are, I stopped throwing mids and just throw my putters for all those shots. I can see the need to make some faster mids to eliminate some of that overlap.

We speculate that the news of these items may be a surprise to some of you, particularly the widespread retirement of our midrange lineup.*The primary mold used in making most of our midranges (i.e. the mold used to make the center core) was the second mold we have ever built, and the function of the nearly 10-year-old mold isn’t compatible with the new state-of-the-art molding equipment we have now.*Furthermore, with our midranges being some of our earliest models, we see a lot of areas of needed improvement. We have heard the same feedback from our fans, and we agree with them.

Rest assured that while your favorite midrange might be about to go out of production, we have every intention of making new additions to our midrange lineup that we feel will be better and more modern options."

Crazy stuff. I knew eventually they'd be dropping some molds, but some of these choices really don't make sense to me.

Axis and Vector especially. Those molds are OG and fly amazing. The Tangent is an incredibly versatile mold too, surprised it got cut. They really don't have any other discs in their line-up that do dead straight lasers as well as the Axis, and as far as I'm concerned the Vector is THE mid from MVP. If I could only bag one mid, that'd be it.

I'm going to have to stock up on flat eclipse Vectors and Axis, this is crazy.

Particle is a great disc too, I was hoping to see it in eclipse or something someday. I prefer it to the Envy, but ended up gping back to the Envy due to owning so many and having all the different plastic and color options.

Discontinuing all the soft Ions aside from eclipse seems like a strange choice too. Those make great throwers.

They obviously have big plans for their line-up to cut out so many great discs, but until I have a disc in my hand that flies better than the Vector, Axis, etc., color me skepticle. I've tried many molds from them and other companies since the Vector came out and it always finds a way back into my bag.

Funny. One of the reasons I've always liked MVP is none of the stuff is rare run, CE, discontinued hard to find plastic. All the molds I bag are discs I can walk into a shop and expect to find.
