I might have to go back to my old one that doesn't fly so far... :D or just use the green ones I got from him, I think he only half mojo'd the greens.

Anybody have a clue when the new fission and cosmic Neutron waves will be hitting shelves?

Not sure.. But I checked the pre-order for #3 of artists self portrait Mike Inscho sheet thingy.. No date given for delivery but they are printing it on fission Waves so... soon?

I thought the date was 14 August.
Really looking forward to the Waves... Waves and Trace have been my distance drivers lately.

Been messing with an Octane too but any 23mm+ rimmed disc is finnickier than I want. I just don’t have the control to maximize their capabilities.

If you can find a sub-165g Octane you might have better luck. I bag a 164g now and have a couple as back up but much easier to get to speed. I prefer them in Neutron. I find Proton in these thick rims really hard and glassy. I have a 165g Proton Octane as well that is staring to get beat in nicely as well.

I don’t have a problem getting it up to speed. My issue is more with the nose angles. I’m so used to the forgiving speed 6/7 class discs that I’m spoiled and lazy.
FWIW, mine is 167g Neutron.
