Marshall St. dropped their Nomads and JC Envies if you don't have some yet.

Grabbed a Nomad from PIAS and guess I should've known better. I putted with Atoms for about a year and never loved electron plastic. I've also never loved beads on a disc, especially for FH. The Comet is immune from my bead-hate and the micro on the Ohm and Envy don't bother me.
Was hoping for a slightly more stable Ohm and the Nomad ain't it. Doesn't seem any more stable to me, just a bit less glide, and the bead is noticably bigger. Doesn't hold up as well as the Ohm for flicks either, but that might be the bead getting in my head. The wait for a cosmic neutron Ohm continues. Meanwhile, I've been bagging a putter line Zone for a while and it keeps getting straighter.... |

Nomad on the left, proton Pilot in the middle, Ohm on the right.
Ohm and Pilot are the same, one with an overmold and one without. MVP even says so. |
I honestly can't tell my Ohm and Pilots apart besides the overmold. They look and feel 90% the same to me. It would also be odd if James-- given full creative control over what he wants his perfect putter to be-- was told by MVP that they're just going to overmold the Pilot.

I wish MVP would bring back Neutron Atoms. I know they didn't sell well (thanks to the Envy) - but I think it's the best disc they've ever made. |
