Checked out the Perfect Putt 360 app, because it did look handy. Was a little surprised to see a price tag of $3. I wanted it but it looked so basic and is just a score keeping app, I couldn't justify the price.
So out of boredom I made this in less than a couple hours. Functionality is all there just need some polish to look a little nicer. Can provide a link for .apk if someone's interested. |
Challenges have definitely peaked.....

Looks like he added oat to his form that is causing his discs to fly less stable

The Musket is actually a good disc. I downloaded the game but haven't tried it yet. Maybe on break at work today.

Ratings update from yesterday put Brodie to 960 with 3 rated rounds.
|
What is he throwing at about 5:35, on the really short wooded hyzer hole #13? Z FLX Zone or something?

Actually, he says what it is in the front9 vid. Chandler Fry Z Zone. |

I just input Brodie's round in the scorebook here and got 1056... Not an overly hard course but he had to make several good putts to shoot that -10
I like that part at the end of vid2 where he's briefly shows his form and notices his bad foot placement. |

Granted, it's not tournament play- but if Brodie would have come out and said he would be shooting thousand rated rounds before May, people would have doubted him. Impressive.
|
This was not a rated round

That was a crazy roller he threw on 15 I think it was. He keeps getting better and better.

Brodie on the most recent foundation DG podcast is worth a listen/watch. If you need a laugh, the last hour is worth checking out. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AodJFxcLniM

Brodie posted a comment on his YT channel earlier...

There are both bad shots where the basket gets in the way and people intentionally trying to get an ace and succeed. Whether it be a hole where a spike hyzer is the preferred shot so you don't necessarily have to worry about the disc being outside of putting range if you make a run, or holes that have a backstop so you can rip one at it and still be more or less parked.
|
I run anything I can potentially ace. I only ace when I'm not running it though.

Looks like the flood gates have opened...

They come in bunches.

As much as I like Brodie's content.. I take everything he does on his channel with a grain of salt. He is first a person trying to make a living from revenue as a youtube content provider. So when he says "ace", unless it was a live video, I'm wondering how many takes it took. lol..

McCord #16 is almost exactly the same throw as #13. It also has a hillside back-stop to prevent the ace run from getting too far away. I play a skip shot off the hill in front. I've hit the underside of the basket before and saw a drive bounce off the top just the other day.
Not much reason to take multiple shots at McCord. It plays fast so you can just go around again. Plus Cubby, god bless him, did not try to make a living off playing disc golf...would be a bad look for Brodie to count mulligans as aces. |
