Do they make Relays between 165 and 170? If they do I never see em. |

I snagged a 171 blue with gold foil... I didn't realize some of them had a blue foil.. There was green with the blue foil, the yellow foil looks way better IMO.

Just a heads up... this hit the market page... he has a ton 30+? Discs of MVP stuff... I was researching plasma inertia and this popped up. |
Tried some of the new releases.
Cosmic Flare is dump beefy, not glidey beefy, put it in the bag to compare with my fireballs for a while.. pretty comparable like i thought but have only thrown it a hand full of times field testing so far, tried anny flexing it but it really just wants to dump! also tried it on a thumber once and it didn't seem to work as well as my fireball for thumbers. Overall i do like the disc so far but will have to see if it can replace my most OS fireball slot in time. Thinking it will do well for forehands Prism with Plasma core Wrath is flippy, first throw turn and burns into moderate wind, nothing like my proton/neutron wraths at all, probably -2 turn out of the box, disappointed in that one, will go to my wife considering its sparkly and pink. Have not tried the Entropy as they were all picked over by the time i got to the shop! |

after a bit more work with the new stuff.. the flare is a good disc but i have so many fireballs in the bag that cover my needs, i decided theres no need for it, a bit underwhelmed by the new releases to be honest. nothing that can compete with or add to what im already throwing and this has happened the last few releases now. Maybe thats a good thing, my bag is locked in.
I want to see a speed 12 class from MVP (or axiom, or streamline, whoever) with a -1 turn and 3 fade disc to compete with the destroyer. The octane has a bit too much high speed turn than i want and in the hand isnt as comfortable as a speed 12, nitro i have doesnt turn and not as much glide, theres nothing else that really competes, the MVP speed 11 stuff doesn't get my max distance potential. I tried really hard to keep an all MVP bag but the Kong stole the max distance slot pretty easily from the octane, come on MVP! The kong had the perfect amount of high speed turn and its a slower turn, handles wind better, comparable glide to my eclipse octanes, basically was hitting C2 from 470' about 50% of the time with the Kong and only 25% with the octane because its harder to control/predict the turn phase.. maybe because it has mcbeths name in it? :) |
