I've been wondering the same thoughts as New up there. Very curious.

About the MD3 there is a plan to make them more overstable. And the blanks, there is currently no plan to release blank discs. Quote:
Any other questions guys? I know you have them! |
Will the G-FDs be a store-only release to start or go straight to retailers? And do you know if the weight range will be down into the mid-to-high 160s? I've only seen max weights floating around from the Deep in the Game tour. Thanks!

I have noticed that all the newer runs of the PD are hella domey is there a way that discmania will produce a FAF JL PD or is that to many acronyms for one disc?
|
How come the 4th run C-line PD's are separate from the JL (Current) run PD's on the Factory store? Aren't the current run of PD's the 4th run?

Are there any plans to sell minis, stickers, or other apparel besides hats?

Do you plan to add misprints to your website? Surely you have some to get rid of :)

The 1st run is very flat, very see through plastic (much like the Jolly Launcher Plastic) and has a patent number on the bottom. The 2nd run is the plus mold rim run. the plastic appears to be a little hazy and the plastic feels softer (the same way the 4th run is) The 3rd run is the plastic, and really hard plastic run. (much like the 2nd run FD's) The 4th run looks and feels like the second run, so hazy appearance and the plastic feels softer, thus giving the disc more glide. this run always give a little more distance because it doesn't fade out as hard. And the 5th and current run is the Jolly Launcher. It is the closest to the first run flight, nice and overstable. it's very dependable in all conditions. Quote:

For the tour team: we hope they all have an amazing season! The DD was not produced in Echo S-LINE. The only disc Discmania has in Echo S-LINE is the DD2, and it's a glide monster. I am not sure which disc would be the most collectable. But there are quite a following for the PD2, PD, FD, MD2, and P2. For collecting it usually goes, the less there are of something the more collectable there are. For example the Blue C-LINE PD2's you mentioned. Or the Blue C-LINE MD3 Proto's Simon has shown me recently. Quote:

Will any third runs available at the store? I know it seems strange, but there have been first runs being released for years so...here's hoping.
I'd like to get some yellows. |

Thanks for keeping the answers coming rarintal!
Another question for you... What plastic are the Lady Line discs in? The description is pretty vague. ;) |
When, if ever, will there be more S-PDs in 150-160g range?
|
Good job fielding these questions brother. Get up here for Masters Cup! I still owe you beers.
|
might've been answered already, i went through most of the thread, don't think saw this asked..apologies if it was...
when are the regular production FD2's slated to come out? |
Are the P PD's the older gummy plastic or the firmer stuff?

My last question was passed over so I'll be more blunt and direct. I have one Discmania disc (s-pd @ 158) that's great, which makes me want to try more 150-159 discs. The problem is that there is barely anything of that weight on the market. I would know, I look daily. Officially, what molds DO you make this low? Will you release enough light weight disc molds to fill a bag???
|
I know this isn't thread-related, but fellow Discmaniacs are invited to come join The Asylum, a new group dedicated to all things Discmania.
If the group is not open for some reason (I am still getting the hang of the group thing), let me know and I'll shoot you an invite. Cheers! |
I can quite figure out how to join the group there onemilemore, but I'd like to join.
I've got another question rarintal! I have two P PDs that are unique. I believe they are from an early run (I've had them for a couple years). They are flat as a board ZERO DOME (as flat as pro rhynos, and FAF firebirds, they look exactly like OOP 2004 flat pearl orcs.) and they are SUPER gummy, 167 g. I've never been able to find anymore of these bad boys. All other P PDs I've found have been stiff and look like a normal PD (slight dome). Any info on these? was is a mistake? re tooling? limited run? I've had them in my bag long enough to worry about replacements when the time comes, it's the only disc that I don't have at least five back ups. Any other discmaniacs seen or have some of these? |
you guys over there at discmania don't have a box of these hanging around in storage by chance?
|
When the new md3 comes out will it be made in a stiff p line plastic? I think it should.

Will you guys be stocking anymore lighter S-FD's soon?? There is only 1 left at 172 at the rest at 175. I personally like 166-169g, but would take a 170 if it's my only option. Thanks in advance!

What molds do you make in 150 class? |
I would also be interested to try some slower premium plastic drivers around 160 grams (or slightly below) as that seems to be the ideal weight for me. At least the TD and the FD would be cool.

Will we see P-Line FD and FD2s? It is my favorite plastic. My go-to discs are P-PD, Pro Leopard and I just aced with a Nova I was trying out. I would be very interested in P-FD2s, more so than I am in the C/S/G plastics.
|
Please count this as my weekly check-in to see when G-Line FDs are coming. :D

Will Discmania be releasing any in the bag videos of the Tour Team?
What disc would you recommend trying for rollers? Still checking the site everyday for those first run FD2's and for the possibility of x-outs :) Can't wait to see those released! |
