Guess what I finally ordered?

I'm excited to try this out!

I have an issue where after 25-30 max D drives the corner of my middle finger (my rip point) gets ripped off.

Yeah, you read that right. It literally gets ripped off by the forces generated when I throw far.

Whether it's soft skin, calloused, blistered, wet, dry....doesn't matter.

I feel like it's been holding me back from my true max D potential.

We'll see.

I'll make a first impressions video ASAP, then I want to do an endurance test where I try to throw 200+ max D shots in one field session.

It sucks bringing a stack of drivers out to my practice field, and having to stop after two volleys. Hope this helps.

I think you'll like them. I started wearing them 2 1/2 years ago. At first, just for the grip in general and now just for rain, morning dew, or summer sweaty hands. The fit for me was great, better than any other gloves. They do wear out but they go on sale about four times a year and I pick up extras then if needed.

Nope... Nope nope nope. That's the day I quit playing. But I don't have that problem. Noodle arm for life!

I hope the gloves work out, that sounds super frustrating as I imagine you would have a hard time keeping the threat of injury out of the back of your head.

Out of curiosity, have you tried taping that spot? What about spreading a thin layer of superglue over that spot on your finger and letting it dry? Any of this stuff will impact your grip and feel, but so would gloves.

I am glad to see you can keep playing with the glove device, and go to courses like the 27-30 hole options and still get a full round in.

I use some old no longer made Under Amour Sport Gloves I think they were the Sideline/Bench Warmer model used for disc Playing in later fall/early spring, were for Running first but they have the UA logo on the whole inside of the hand to help for some sports in winter. If I do have my UA pair of gloves die, I have others for running but Disc Golf specific/Ultimate gloves are what I would try for later fall/early spring Disc Golf.

Yep, tried new skin too. Haven't found them to help much.

New skin is garbage, too safe and non toxic.. Crazy glue is still the best! Won't hold your kids toy back together but get a glob on your finger and God help you. Looking forward to hearing about the gloves.
