I thought that was a Valkyrie bottom.

EDIT: and if it's actually the case that the CD2 has a sidewinder bottom, let me readjust my original question and ask if there's a valk out there with the anhyzer top

How do the luster MD's fly?

Flick Maniac 07-31-2018 11:30 AM

Straight, glidey, touch of fade.

So exactly like a fresh C-line? Or is their some difference?

Flick Maniac 07-31-2018 01:38 PM

Its been very long since Ive thrown a C-MD. This one has some dome, and the plastic is gummy. I already gave mine away since I am so much MD3 to the grave :D

sounds like a normal MD To me. Might be a little more overstable than C

I have had this for quite a while and not sure of its origin or story.

It's a P-Pd (freak). I got it a long time ago and not really sure what year it was...

Is this something that is readily accessible?

Unfortunately not this time. It is very possible that we will release a couple versions of the P3x next year but the C-Line version was the one we had planned for 2018

Luster MD's have a little more grip than the C-Line version and most have a little more dome. Aside from the aesthetics of the luster plastic, they could be a little more overstable than the new stock version but likely not too much.

The P-Line PD hasn't been produced in a little while since it just wasn't the best seller. Some folks out there definitely do like them but the stock we had lasted way too long and was a gamble to make again if people weren't interested in buying them. Perhaps they will be back one day but there are no plans at the moment. G-Line PD's are a wonderful substitute for those and definitely will provide a longer life in your bag.
