But I ain’t gonna lie, listening to Eric Oakley reference the Imperial Eagles of old while describing the new glow P-blend Alpaca that is coming out soon makes it vvveeerrrryyyy tempting. |
Disc Golf Valley is showing sky god 4's in the team series pro shop, The artwork seems to match the latest style team discs, it's stamped C-Line P2 but the game calls it a "Neo Sky God"
Maybe a hint at things to come from DM soon? |

Do you all think the top DM pros will still be throwing old Originals, or will we see totally revamped bags this season? Will there be any remains of Innova?
For the record: I hope Innova plastic is expunged from all of their bags. It would be so cool to see full Swedish DM plastic. |
I'd be real interested to see some new ITB videos.
|
It looks like Dynamic Discs is releasing their P2 named the Agent. More stable than a Warden and a little deeper. That’s a P2.

Next Evolution Line Disc?
With the upcoming release of the Mutant and Splice we will officially be caught up with the updates to the Evolution line. This begs the question of what will be next for the evolution line. I imagine we'll hear from DM regarding this at some point, although they've been very quiet as of late regarding future releases and production updates.
So, what do you think will be next OR what would you like to see next from the Evolution line? Do you think we will continue to see new discs or perhaps we'll se a shift to different plastics? I'd live nothing more than a stock run of Neo putt and approach discs, specifically the Tactic and Logic. |

We need an afternoon of QnA from the DM support    |

The Discmania Support responses dropped off. I really hope they come back. |

The logic is my main putting and throwing putter. I keep a Berg around too because that is a very useful disc in the wind. I love the exo soft, but really don't like the exo hard. I would get so much use from a neo logic. |
Just saw the new FD. .whats up with the 7/6/0/1 flight numbers? . .FDs has allways been 7/5/-1/1

Probably hard to get anything other than high performance out of that fine, Italian blend. |
The FD has been super inconsistent for a fairway driver, in my experience. The first couple I got many years back, with the original jackal stamp, were definitely -1 turn 1 fade. Discmania was marketing them as the best beginner driver and I think that claim was reasonable
Later on they were more like 0 turn and up to 2 fade, this includes both the swirly run they said was overstable and a later regular run. I wanted to keep throwing the FD, but had to switch to the River because of this. |
Are online retailers limited to the same release TIME as the Discmania website? I know they can’t sell until the date, but didn’t know about time.

On the drop for Iron Samurai 3 it appeared everyone released at the same time. It sounds like there will be plenty to go around, similar to the stock P2 and MD3 releases.
|
You Discmaniacs let us know how the FDs fly. My bet is they are every bit as stable as the 0/1 numbers or more. Dude at the shop pointed out that they just might have a tiny bit of a concave curve on the wing. Plastic felt nice but pretty firm. My pocketbook is gonna wait on some reviews, which apparently means I won't be able to get one.
|
For me the updated numbers seem correct. No turn really, yet not that much fade for such a straight disc.
Works for me. I especially like to throw it forehand, something that I never used to do with FDs. |

Sadly no, since I've only ever thrown this one Instinct when they came out. (that reminds me, perhaps I should rehash my experience with one)
But here is a good comparison to Instinct and OG FD. New ones seem to fall nicely in between. |
So why did I think the FD was gonna retail for $29.99? Is that just for the tour series discs? Went ahead and grabbed one for $21.99 plus tax cuz I'm curious.
|
Agreed that the OG FD had significant variations in stability, with the last runs being generally more/most stable.
The new FD is kinda in the middle, but not as inherently overstable as the Instinct. I’m still field-testing the two I have, but those are my early impressions. I throw the C-FD 300-325, for comparison’s sake. Agreed that a Neo or Lux Logic would be a great addition. Neo Tactics are easily available on eBay for $20-25 shipped, if you want to stock up. Haven’t thrown mine yet so unable to comment on its stability or compare it to other plastics. Would love to from DM again, soon. |
