Will discmania do an overmold in the future?

august dupree 01-15-2015 10:28 PM

X-line p2 not the same as p2x.

p2x will have a bead.

DinosaurThunder 01-16-2015 07:41 AM

I saw a towel get posted on FB, will you be releasing those soon? Or was that a DIY project? :)

Flick Maniac 01-16-2015 12:30 PM

Those towels were handed out in the players pack at European Open 2013. Got one!

Flick Maniac 01-16-2015 12:38 PM

ps. The Discmania Store pages have the same AJ quote

Quote:

It's by far the most overstable version of all the plastics available in the P2. A great putter that can various weather conditions and all the torque that a player can litterally throw at it. The P2 is a putter that so versitile that if you only had one disc to use it could be the only disc that you could ever need
for X-line, S-line and C-line. Umbrella quotes are ok to describe a mold, but this quote is focusing specifically on the plastic, so it should really only be used with one plastic type. I think it was supposed to describe C-line P2s, right?

fasteddie 01-16-2015 12:48 PM

that is specifically for the C-line p2.

Flick Maniac 01-17-2015 02:54 AM

thats what i thought, so might want to delete that on the other plastics and replace with more general characterization of the P2 that doesnt hinge on the plastic type itself.

at that rate....

flat tops on mids and putters is key! many molds (era/blend/tooling) are sought after for these qualities!

if you could capitalize on consistently flat molds you will be ahead of the curve.

Well, These are up on the Discmania Store. We have just released the Flat and Concave top X-LINE P2s.

p2x

p3x

could follow suit with a beads and sunken/flat tops!!

We will most definitely consider that for the future. Right now let's just stick to the P1x. We love this thing, it has exceeded expectations of most who have tried it... especially for putting.

Most certainly a possibility. It's X-LINE by the way :)

Yes, first runs now available. They are beefy. We had Finnish Champion Pasi Koivu throw them today. He was quite impressed by them and said there was even a chance that it would kick his Champion Rhyno out of his bag.

These X-LINE P2s are still pretty beefy! similar to the P-LINE flight but more grip.

Thanks for pointing out our error. This description was originally intended for the S-LINE P2. (C-LINE is a new produciton)

S-LINE. but the P2 is most certainly the most overstable.

a towel is a towel :D (unless it is a pouch LOL)

that Pasi Koivu quote sure is promising. luckily there is still about 4months of offseason left so lots of new stuff to try out come springtime!

I'd be really excited for XT FDs.

"convex tec"

Is this the dome of the flight plate?

Seabrook 01-21-2015 03:23 PM

Could someone explain Jussi Meresmaa's quote that the vRoc is the "new 2001 CE Roc"? They might be both San Marino molds but Innova hasn't worked with the CE plastic in 15 years?

Columbia gorge 01-21-2015 04:52 PM

2001 CE is a Rancho mold and his quote is ridiculous.

This is an off the cuff response. They are creating a collector in the same vein as the clear 2001 CE Rocs. Thus far it is apparently working but I just don't feel they will be held in as high of regard. To me it seems artificial. More power to them for this effort and I hope they cash in on people willing to pay for these as fund raisers.

sjberry2017 01-21-2015 10:11 PM

Forgive me if this has already been asked, but has a release date for the new Lite basket in the US been set yet?

DinosaurThunder 01-23-2015 08:21 AM

Any chance now that you have a Discmania Store ebay account you will list x-outs for sale or auction? I know ebay roughly takes a cut for every sale, but it would be cool to see some of the stamps of the x-outs listed individually. Just a thought :)

rallyguy 01-26-2015 10:32 AM

Do you have an idea of when the P1x will be restocked on the site?

talltee32 01-26-2015 11:13 PM

I would also like to know when the next restock is coming.

Any chance of a new bag design or color this year? Would love to see one that replaced the red with yellow, black on the sides and red Discmania across the front.

hellbound 02-01-2015 09:03 PM

I just ordered your grip bag off the store that was showing on sale and got charged full price. I emailed the store to see about getting this corrected but wanted to bring it up in case other fans decide to make a order for one

hellbound 02-02-2015 02:45 PM

service department is second to none. Got my issue resolved. thanks again Discmania!

oleandt 02-06-2015 12:35 AM

dd2 g-line

How soon for the g-line dd2?

DinosaurThunder 02-06-2015 07:50 AM

I am anxiously waiting to see what is released for the European Open in various Discmania molds :) excitement building!

Bogey H8tr 02-09-2015 06:10 PM

I would really like to see some of the nike drifit discmania t-shirts available to customers in the United States! I found them online but they are only available to your European customers.

talltee32 02-10-2015 10:36 PM

Any update on the site getting restocked?

Any chance of the FD2 coming out in P-line? Or any other plastic?

I'm calling the G-line P2. Just got a word from InnovaStore that it will see a stock release this spring.

rarintal 02-11-2015 11:46 AM

Discmaniacs are the best!

Sorry I have been behind in answering you guys... the VRoc3 release rocked our world!

This is talking about the bottom of the disc right next to the bead. instead of being convex it's bowed out. It makes the disc feel really comfortable.

I believe he was referring to making it a collector discs of that same level.

1 disc selling for $1,300 + is a good start at making this one of the most collectable discs out there.

You're pretty much correct. This discs will only be available in smaller quantities throughout the year to help fundraising for certain events.

As soon as possible. We don't have a concrete date yet, so I am uncomfortable releasing more details at this time. Just keep your eyes open on our social media outlets :)

We try to update our pictures on the website of our x-outs. Unfortunately the X-OUTs being sold individual would probably suck up a lot of our time and not be worth it. Maybe we could start posting X-OUT discs on our DiscmaniaStore Instagram account and Facebook page.

would you guys be interested in seeing x-outs?

What other things are you looking for us to have restocked? Maybe we can speed up the process!

That bag idea is interesting. I guess there's always a chance... but at the moment there's no information we can give out about the bag.

Yes! I frequently order F2 from the Innova Proshop and X-Outs from you guys. I find your stock to be much more interesting because I get lots of fun tournament and misprint stamps.

I agree with that! I love throwing unique x-out discs and would pick them up more frequently with a few teasers thrown out there :)

A few ideas...

Realistic Ideas:
MF MD3's and FD's! Black P-line P2's with a EO stamp would be awesome too!

Long Shot Ideas:
a special run s-line FD2 or G-line DD :)

Thank you for taking the time to respond! Glad to see your team made it through the VRoc madness!

I'm mainly waiting for P1x to get stocked. Besides that, I always look at the x-outs to see if anything cool pops up. I think I enjoy the x-outs more then anything lol

Same here on the P1xs, particularly in X-line. I need to grab a stack of them for practice putting.

Columbia gorge 02-11-2015 11:24 PM
