Exactly. They have been trying but no luck yet.

Jenga54 10-13-2017 02:22 PM

Even made the FD2 but didn't have the glide

JBCHyzer 10-15-2017 11:44 AM

Is the CD Craze more a control driver or distance driver? Discmania's website has the S-line Craze listed as a control driver, however the Infinite Discs website has the disc listed as a distance driver.

Mostly depends on your strength. For a pro level player a speed 10 is a control driver. For a mid-level player it might be a prefect distance driver. For a new player it's probably too fast even as a distance driver and an FD and CD2 would be better distance drivers.

For me, the S-CD is the Go-To for most drives unless I need more OS finish or headwind that I would go up to a destroyer. But the CD will go for days, I love it soo straight.

Please make D-Line MD4's. Not a fan of P-Line plastic. G-Line would be nice too

Yeah I was popping back in to check on this as well. This mold in this plastic, it's so perfect. It's probably my favorite disc in my bag, I have just wanted a fresh one for a while now.

skizzle34 10-17-2017 10:55 AM

I really want a D or P line MD4 as well. They would be in the mythical dx roc category and I think they would be magical

Thanks for the update on the P-Line MD3s.

How did they mold up?

These P-MD3's are just as good as ever. No distinguishing differences thus far, which we are happy with for sure.

Ok everybody is crazy for the 2nd run FD’s and I have not heard of anybody owning one who is not in love with them. So my question is why would you not re-run the FD in “very hard blend of C-LINE”. You must have the recipe for the “very hard blend of C-LINE”. Is the plastics in the recipe not available? Too many X-outs? Do they last too long thereby reducing the need to re-buy?

Seriously why no love?

Jenga54 is correct. This is something we have worked tirelessly on for years and haven't gotten the desired result quite yet. Plastics change, seasons change, and the same reasons that runs vary a bit from one to another is the same thing that goes for the 2nd run FD. Though that run was a wonderful anomaly and much different than others, that scenario is relevant for lots of runs. We may have some tricks up our sleeves for the future and rest assured that it is not intentional that the 2nd run has not returned. We want it just as badly as you do. We also don't want to put out a product that doesn't meet our expectations either.

tons of factors go into plastic injection molding - I've watched some interesting interviews with Dave Dunipace talking about plastics. even buying the same blend/type of plastic from the same vendors it will still vary from bag to bag of plastic.

There are environmental factors like the temperature and humidity of the shop too that will impact the final product

All good points. Some things are hard to foresee and some are hard to change. This particular flight of the 2nd run is something we will pursue until we get the result that people will be thrilled with.

The CD is technically a distance driver as far as our speed ratings are concerned. They should likely be listed as such. What people need to focus on is fairway driver vs. distance driver. The control name in there can easily be applied to any sort of disc. Though a control driver is not typically a true distance driver, this one fits the bill for a "medium" max distance driver. Same thing goes for the CD2 essentially.

Excellent points! The CD is a great disc for distance shots for most players and serves as a longer fairway-type driver for more experienced advanced or pro players. The CD in general is something that people need to give a fair shot. It is a wonderful disc and would honestly be the perfect substitute for anyone that hasn't taking a liking to the PD, for example.

All in good time. We expect that next year will bring lots of new surprises.

Coming very soon and the good news is they feel just like the last ones. We couldn't be happier.

Next year will be a year full of fun and surprises. Not everything on the wishlist may visit us, but you can expect some good stuff to come in the future.

jjmiller 10-18-2017 12:12 PM

Thanks on the p-line md3's.

Sorry if this has been covered before, but what disc does the PD2 share a bottom wing section with? I know the PD has a firebird bottom and the DD a wraith. And people have said that the PD2 is an XCal bottom, but it's supposedly .1 cm wider. Also, I think people have said XCal just because of the flight description Discmania gives- which doesn't actually state that it shares mold pieces with the XCal, just that the flight is similar.

PD2 is the Xcal/Destroyer bottom with the Anyhyzer top. Similar to the DDx which has the Tern Bottom and Anhyzer top.

jjmiller 10-18-2017 07:06 PM

Then why is it listed at 2.4 cm while the destroyer is 2.2 and the xcal is 2.3?

Because destroyers are actually closer to 2.3 than 2.2. As for the pd2, the pdga isn't reliable for good measurements

Flick Maniac 10-19-2017 02:20 AM

Yeah and I believe a different top may have the finished product cool differently. Its not like its a science. :)

thursdaddy 10-20-2017 02:08 PM

Congrats on the move to your new facility.. I like the strategically placed P-MD3's in your FB announcement post.. ;) gimme gimme gimme. Hope to see these up on the store soon!

broomerang 10-21-2017 03:28 PM

I'm guessing the P-Line MD3 will be on the store after the move? I don't facecook. Gimme Gimme! I need that sweet grippy P-Line in my life.

yungfiji 10-22-2017 05:34 AM

Been waiting for the P-Line MD3s for a while now.

Hopefully they will be up soon for reallll

yungfiji 10-24-2017 05:14 PM

So are you guys going to put out all of the new runs of different discs on the store at once?
Im guessing shortly after the move?

FDx? Or CDx? Maybe something really os like a UD?

Jenga54 10-24-2017 06:08 PM

My hope is FDx and the wing is small enough. I love my CD and I’d feel the CDx would be a PD?
I’d be more surprised if they opened a new “category” when X’s and higher numbers are available.
There are some “1” slots available as well, besides P1 and MD1

ian.w 10-25-2017 10:55 AM

What are that chances that we'll ever see FD3s or PDs made in D-line?

Flick Maniac 10-25-2017 11:00 AM

D-line PDs were released early this year. Not sure if production will continue though. Was a stock stamp anyways.

discerdoo 10-26-2017 07:10 PM

This might already be covered somewhere but, why in the heck aren't s-line FDs available anywhere? I would assume there's a pretty strong demand for them.

There are S-Line FD's currently available online at the Discmania store.

While I appreciate DM pricing their online store in order not to undercut their retail clients, I'd end up paying about $6 more per disc vs DGC with shipping and discount. DM store has weight options of 175, 150 and 149 currently. I'd say it's time for them to pump out another run of S-FDs.

Fair enough. Just figured I'd let you know.

New013 10-27-2017 07:08 PM

It's kind of frustrating that you just can't buy a lot of the discs in the lineup routinely. If I lose one I have to wait for the next niche run.

PMD3s... still waiting

Ive been trying to get these for so long now :wall:

Flick Maniac 10-28-2017 01:18 AM

If I like something I try to amass 4 or so asap. That way I am not left in the lurch later on.

gby2k6 10-29-2017 11:21 PM

@Dismania

When can we expect more Swirly P3? I'm in need of some backups.

I never order less than 2 discs at a time when I order from anywhere. Most of the time I pick up 3 just to be sure. I definitely isn't ideal but at least its exciting when they come back :hfive:

Anthony_G 11-01-2017 12:48 PM

Yes, more swirl star P3s please. They feel better on my finger-tips on the bottom than the P3X and release cleaner. Also, more D-Line P3s! P-Line would be awesome too and I hope they get produced some day. My bag would be set for years if I got a healthy amount of all of these for back ups. I've been getting more nervous about my depleting back ups.

The move was exhausting for sure, but we made it! Up and running to the best of our abilities at this point. P-MD3's are up. Small batch to start with but we will have more in the future.

What molds are you referring to in particular? We have some new special stuff coming but unfortunately those things don't all happen at once.

The Swirl P3 will probably not be back for some time, I'm afraid. I would recommend seeking out the new run of C-P3. The plastic is amazing and they fly great too. We really like these new ones the most.

broomerang 11-01-2017 04:07 PM

Whew... I managed to snag 2 of the last 3 P-line MD3 at 180g. Good luck to the others!

Looking back at my order history, I am a sucker for some sweet discmania plastic. (especially the tour support discs).

New013 11-01-2017 09:56 PM

This pretty much proves my point further. A lot of people have been waiting for a new run of PMD3s and in less than a day pretty much all of the heavier weights are gone.

Why a small batch when so many people here and on the Facebook groups have been clamorimg for these? Now myself and anyone else who wasn't checking every hour randomly have to wait for a "future" run. Who knows how long that will be.

If you're going to do some limited run at least give everyone a heads up on when they'll drop so we have some chance of snagging what we want.

yungfiji 11-02-2017 05:13 AM

THey still have the 180s left.. I just ordered two
