Yeah I can't remember. Is the Pyro related to the Matrix any?

Segue, but I really need MVP to make an overstable, flat driver with a blunt wing for FH rollers. The Resistor just ain't cutting it.

I haven't tried a Pyro yet.

Yea, I haven't had any luck FH rolling anything but a proxy from MVP. Well, except the Insanity is pretty good for holding a cut FH roller. That's mainly the reason why I still have a Wasp and Max in my bag.

usually i go with my fireball as a fh/oh-roller and am very happy with it. being a noodle-arm this shot is quiet important for me and the only way to reach up to 130 m (430 ft). as a leftie i use a normal fh-grip and try to get it on the ground with an 11-o'clock-angle (rh = 13-o'clock). getting it right it just goes straight for a long distance with a reliable hook to the right at the end.

two weeks ago while playing some safari-holes i just went with 3 discs and tried the pyro as a substitute for those rollers... wow! the pyro just keeps rolling straight and never hooks up at the end. it rollls out of steam and settles straight forward. i had a couple of rollers that distance-wise even went further than my fireball would have gone as the hook at the end is sometimes so hard that it entually turns back in my direction. the pyro is just following its given angle and therefore it is very versatile and can easily be manipulated to roll straight, left or right.

so the pyro is not a 1:1 substitution for the fireball. but i'm super stoked with the pyro to have a new roller-path in the bag:
long + hook = fireball!
long + straight = pyro!

Not even related a little. The pyro has a tweener mid/fairway lip. The one Pyro i got was just dumb OS with no glide. The Matrix is a smaller diameter and more buzzz-like in feel. Imo

Which I would call less stable.

My 156 Eclipse Craves are flip city. I have to put them on some serious hyzer lines.

Is this the norm for them?

I have owned more Craves than any other driver. My 168g SE Eclipse Crave flys pretty close to my high 160s Protons and Neutrons, maybe just a bit more turn, but not much.

Diffently less turn than Plasma but also with more mellow fade.

My SE Eclipse Crave, and another I have seen in the wild, both are super straight.

This is what I thought was the norm for these. I bag a heavy plasma crave, and it's just a laser beam. I would have been interested in more and less stable versions. I'd actually even be interested in an electron crave. Something to beat into paper plate flippy.

I also would like a Firm Electron Crave. Currently I am using a Ti Sting in that slot. It is beating in nice for that.

We might be waiting forever on that one though.....maybe it'll.come out with all these new modern molds that are supposed to be replacing half my bag that went oop. They did start making an E matrix, so, maybe?

Or maybe it'll be released with the soft neutron ion lol

I used to bag a totally thrashed 150gram dx leopard for flipper duty. I couldn't throw it with enough hyzer to prevent rolling. Spike hyzer throwlers aren't supposed to exist!
