Typically the Proton(clear) and the neutron(opaque) are more or less the same, with the P a tick more OS but it really depends more on PLH/dome with those two. Plasma is similar to gstar but not as gummy and is usually a little less stable than N or P. Fission has changed a bit since the last one I bought(2015-16ish) but tend to be similar to the plasma flightwise but season faster.

The new Prizm plastic by all accounts is the most US of the plastics but like Fission, its only available on a couple molds atm.

So in theory...

Proton>Neutron>Plasma>Fission>Prizm

The electron "base" plastic is pretty much garbage for anything other than putting... especially if you play a lot of woody courses. It just breaks in way too fast.

Also, the discs in the Photon/Wave class and below are almost always flat or very slightly domey in N and P. The Plasma versions tend to have a bit of shoulder and dome, which gives them more glide. The two classes above the Photon class have domed tops in all plastics.

Electron Firm and Eectron Soft are both tougher than DX. Electron Medium.....yeah, it's only good for putters

My Firm E Envy has taken several tree hits and has lots of play and it's still fine

The eclipse (glow) versions are typically the most stable form of a mold..

I throw a 155 Neutron and it's laser straight to fade at about 320'. They are a good starting point, middle of the road and a consistent mold. Not too flippy not too beefy. If you've got more power you will get more turn.

Hey so I have my bag pretty much set.. Vanish and Relay might make it.

I was doing a nature/the elements test on some early Anodes a while back, kept track of their wear progress for about a year (I think) before I lost them to flooding. Did the rim separate at all from the core? I'll dig up the thread later when I get the chance for anyone that's curious.
