Brodie is live streaming a round with Paul and others. Why haven't any other disc golf pros recorded practice rounds or livestreamed their rounds ever? Guy has been streaming for 5 minutes and he almost has 1k viewers. Pretty nuts.

Smart move by Discraft...the guy does know how to get exposure.

Brodie is really starting to get good, he played the WTO layout in his latest video "2 Brodie Smith's vs. Paul McBeth" and he did just fine.
Pauls round must have been insane. . . a -15 !!! 45 . . |
When is he actually going to play a tournament?
No more fun rounds, lets see what he really scores |

Brodie is taking a different approach, of course. But 90% of pros doing this for a living don't want to have to be entertaining when they are prepping for an event that is their job. |

If I had to guess, he will probably play some local Texas events on not too hard of courses to try and get that 900 rating established for Tour events later in the summer. |

Good interview. Talks about his possible rating, winning tournaments, etc. (It was recorded a few weeks ago btw.)
2 Brodie Smiths, 1 Paul McBeth (Too bad Paul's round wasn't covered....wow..) "No more fun rounds, lets see what he really scores" Probably better than most people only playing seriously for 2 months. lol.. |

If they want more money, they'll want more exposure. |

Hmm... it was in Huntington beach, I wonder if Paul or Hannah caddied for him.
|
That's where the filmed the first Champ vs Chumps if anybody wants to know what the course looks like.

I would imagine they had played a few rounds. That's Paul original home course. They probably played a round or two before and he decided spur of the moment to join the league night.
His twitter says... Well that sucked. lol |
Lulz… I had completely forgotten about Paul's blond hair fauxhawk

931 is pretty freaking good for a first rated round.
|
Just one person's opinion.
First, Brodie is progressing fairly well. Lead Card progress? No. But first rated round is 923, after what, a month or two? Really? That's impressive. Wow. Second, Brodie is trailblazing a path for disc golf pros. If we are beginning to make inroads into YouTube revenue streams via CCDG, Jomez and others, this guy is going to show us how Pros can start tapping into that online revenue stream. You may love him or hate him, but you all need to pay attention. He is a trailblazer...follow his lead if you want to stay ahead of the curve. |

Looks like Waco may be his first major tournament. Interesting choice to take on the bEast as his pro debut. Something tells me he isn’t going to fare well, especially if it’s as windy as it usually is
|
That was a textbook case of what happens when you start getting tired. His footwork went to hell and he wasn't getting a good follow thru with his arm swing. Definitely needs to work on his DG conditioning and endurance...
