If he does slow down his playing I imagine he'll work within marketing or player management for Discraft. |

Brodie Smith PDGA #128378
Ok. I’ll admit that regardless of anything Brodie related I will likely try and snatch one of the Zones with the “Get Freaky” stamp.
|
Bro is killing it with the content. Really enjoyed the good vibes in this one. Looks like Paul and Paige were having a good time.
|
Fun video and a perfect example of how Discraft should "use" Brodie. . show of the Champs and the new discs
and wow how far did Paige throw that Luna?!? |

Does he still do trick shot videos, or is his focus on DG now?
|
Ask Simon how those 2 are mutually exclusive ;)

After that last video I am thinking that Brodie is going to be used as Discraft's Eric Oakley. Colorful character to be used to promote the product. Not bad marketing, but could get annoying.
|
That's entirely possible and can you really blame them? He's got an untapped market waiting to be advertised to. Even if they only got less than 1% of his subs to start buying Discraft... that's what 10k people? That's a lot of Forces, Nukes and Buzzzes
|
that latest video has only been up for a day and now has 90k views, so a smart move. . no way Paul, Paige or Discraft could get that many views that fast by them self

Oakley has some nice flip up FH's aswell. I guess his weakness is more technical bh's.
|
His weakness is when his timing is off on that goofy runup/OLAY arm swing he does...

so whatever he does is kinda working |

Seriously though, his BH form has a lot of moving parts that all need to line up at the right time. For the most part, the top guys have smooth, compact BH form, even going back to Climo and Schultz. Even guys like Eagle and Simon for the most part have smooth BHs, unless they are really trying to rip a bomb. Can someone like Oakley, or Feldberg and Conrad to a certain extent, have it all clicking, even for long periods of time? Absolutely. Some guys are just gifted with naturally good timing but if its just a bit off, you're looking at 40-50ft putts instead of 10-20. Or they're a few feet OB instead of 5ft inbounds. |
Putter pants.

and conrad needs an airplane landing strip for enough tee pad room |
Anthon has that Flintstones looking run up that looks goofy as hell. Whatever works though. I'd skip up the tee if I could throw like these guys.

Yeah all you 1000 rated or higher guys without perfect form SUCK! I may not throw as far or good but my form is pretty and I’d give it a 10/10 lulz

Tiger Woods had a coach who told him what he was doing wrong and how to correct it. Are you claiming if his coach could not beat (which he couldn't) Tiger he has no business being Tiger's coach? Stupid!! |

Where I had issues was trying to judge how understable of a disc to throw to get it to flip and turn without burning. There is a reason Feldburg used to carry every mold Lat64 made. If I need pinpoint accuracy, I still throw Feldy form. I no longer use is for distance lines though. Of course, we all are built different and what works for me may not work for others. |

As far as timing the hop, one has to get hips turned before the hop lands. Thats the hardest part of it. |
