BigZ /Crystal Zone vs Glow/Star Aviarx3

Please compare/contrast the two...Im looking for an OS putter ofr drives and FH approaches. I have heard great things about both.

Hard to compare them, i Think they are quite different.

Zone is faster and more OS . .i used to have a CryZtal Zone in the bag. . but have a AX3 now and might even go to a Rhyno . .slower low glide discs feels easier to control

I def like the faster and more OS ability with the zone. I bag all Innova but the zone and find that the Star Aviarx3 is OS but not the speed or OS ability I want. I was hoping that the luster or Champ glow would be close to the zone

If Innova ever release the RAT in Luster it might work

I would either bag the Zone alone in that type of slot, or go with like, an AviarX3 + a mortar or caiman maybe, or whatever your favorite FH mid is.

AviarX3 as mentioned is a little more controllable, but not by much. I would describe bagging the AX3 over the zone/harp as a compromise to a zone or harp overlapping with some other OS disc you bag.

FWIW the Cryztal Z zone is noticeably more overstable than the Big Z IMO. They are both faster and beefier than the Aviar X3. The Zone feels far more comfortable for FH shots for me as well.

Throw JOKERi so you don't have to compare. It's the best one of all of these.

I have a mortar in frontline, Glow and Recon. I will throw both the zone and mortar this weekend and compare.

My Zone is in ESP plastic and my AvX3s are Stars. My Zone is more OS (I might state that as more reliably OS). I use it on a nearby short, heavily wooded course to hit gaps on dogleg lefts. i used to bag the AvX3 (or Harp) on my home course, which has open and wooded holes.

Like other people have said, the zone is faster and more over stable but the aviarx3 is very controllable. I bag both a z zone and a color glow aviarx3. The zone covers drives that need glide and hyzer while the aviarx3 covers the straight to hyzer line.

It's hard to explain the differences between the two. Zone is faster and beefier but needs more speed or snap to fly straight. The aviarx3 flies like a really overstanle aviar. Straight and slow but with really good torque resistance and an overstanle finish
